Podium Lodge

Modern facilities. Clean. Comfy. Ultra friendly.

Funny odour in the room (like a damp dishcloth) but gone after some good airing & air con.

The studio apartment had everything we need. Very clean, cosy, comfortable, parking, laundry & wifi available and the property is close to town. We received a very warm welcome, it was so easy to book and received instant response. Communication with property was amazing. Highly recommend this property. We will be back again for waka ama nationals next year and definitely staying there again!

Meticulously cleanComfortable

Might need a few more utensils in the hubRooms look bigger in the pictures but still really comfortable

Clean, tidy, great communal facilities

Location, clean and tidy.

No swimming pool for the kids

Very nice, new facility. Well set up. Comfy bed. We had a large trailer and there was plenty of safe parking for us. Friendly staff! And only a few minutes from Cambridge central.

Lovely units with everything we needed. Lovely comfortable big bed.

It would be good to have some sun filter or screen curtains or blinds to cover the front door and windows and there is no privacy during the day unless the curtains are kept closed.

Very clean and modern

Not much. Excellent facilities for a very reasonable price!

Generous size accommodation. Excellent communal area. Great value.

Blinds on entrance doors would be better if they were in 3 separate panels, so that the doorway had it's own blind. This would make it easier to come in & out after dark.

Site layout attractive. Being a bit out of town very relaxing and peaceful.Rooms very clean and well furnished. Beds v comfortable.Excellent cooling heat pump.Owner very friendly.Close to Cambridge.Pet friendly (even though we didn't bring our dogs this stay)Will recommend to others. Would have The Podium as first choice when we visit the area again.

All great.Maybe a bigger plunger for 2 mugs!

Clean and spacious facility & dog friendly!

Nothing really, we had a few mosquitoes come in at night so maybe we need to keep the windows closed.

It was dog friendly, quiet and lovely rooms

It was well set out, easy to find and clean. Very functional. Check in was a breeze and it was quiet.

There was 1 blind covering both the door and the window which was inconvenient if you just wanted to lower the blind for the window and not the door. There was only one split system located in the living area for our 2bdrm apartment so to get cool air into the bedrooms you needed to have the doors open which wasn’t ideal.

Comfortable beds - great bath and nice kitchenette

Maybe have some greenery in front of the units for more privacy. The bare concrete outside the units felt cold.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly on arrival.

The cutlery and kitchen utensils are getting old.

Clean, good location,Friendly staff, aircon, TV, kitchen facilities

Clean, modern facilities in a quiet location. Walking distance to the velodrome.

Quiet, clean very handy to Velodrome where I needed to be

Only one thing - couldn't work out how to fill bath rather than have on shower.

Very clean with a super comfy bed. Lots of parking and a quiet location.

No breakfast included. Couple of kms back to Cambridge for cafes and restaurants.Overall freshness and cleanliness of the facilities. Requesting guests to wash their own dishes raises the question of the thoroughness of the previous guests at completing that task. How clean was the mugs and glasses?

Website stated there was EV charging onsite. Had to download a clunky app for a 'charging network' that I hadn't heard of and leave money in an account which I suspect I will never use again.Nearest parking is a few steps from the units which isn't great if it's raining.
