Rom was clean and tidy, but somewhat basic.

The 2 lounge chairs provided were really to small.

Our room was quite large with lots of room. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.

Very good apart from noise from next door room.

Noise from neighbouring room - the air conditioning unit was very noisy and disturbed my sleep.

We had a truly great stay! The service was outstanding—the front desk lady was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond, proactively providing helpful travel instructions not just for Cambridge, but for our overall trip through New Zealand. Our room was spacious and featured a convenient kitchen. We also appreciated the clean pool, quiet surroundings, and the good location (just a 2–3 minute drive from downtown and all amenities). Easy parking, check-in, and check-out made the entire process seamless.

Although dated, the room was nice enough and felt clean. The staff were AMAZING.

There was not alot of counter space in the bathroom, but I think that was because we ended up in a wheelchair accessible room so space may not have been available?

Spacious rooms, very clean, very central.

The ceiling was high so it took a while to warm the room up in winter but once it was warm it was fine.

The owners are lovely and helpful. Offering us bottled water for the long drive home.

Excellent space in the family room with a good sized kitchen, living area and the beds were comfortable.

It is in walking distance to the city centre. The room was spacious, the bed king sized and comfortable and all equipment was modern and clean. The room was serviced every day and there were only a small number of rooms, meaning no noise from neighbours.

A clean and quiet hotel with welcoming staff. However, stay was made uncomfortable by a man constantly smoking outside his room, hanging over the pool fence, staring at swimmers. Appeared to be a permanent resident. Now looking back over prior reviews appears others have mentioned this before.

Motel old but very clean. Well appointed facilities eg even provided fly spray! Pool clean - had a lovely swim. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable

The motel was bck from the road, no noise from traffic very central to town.owners where very accommodating as I had my elderly mum with me

Very quiet, clean spacious unit, milk and drinking water provided

A genuine friendly welcome from the receptionist who was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay. It had everything we needed and the furniture was comfortable . The outside seating was a bonus, enabling us to enjoy a glass of wine in the warm evening. We would stay there again if in the area.

Nothing to dislike

Plenty of room, very comfy bed. Good kitchenette. we stayed here many years ago and it is obvious the property has been well maintained. Very good location, quiet and near town centre.

Location was handy

Smoking is allowed directly outside the rooms. Its not much of an issue normally, but as the person was a chain cigarette smoker, and stayed near to our room, unfortunately a strong smell of smoke constantly trailed into our room through gaps in the door/windows from morning until late into the night. There were many families with kids staying and we were their for a sporing event. Trying to find an amicable solution was difficult with one staff member who was not keen to provide the smoker with a suitable area to move to and suggested we spendvour down time indoors with the air con on. Luckily, after repeatedly asking, another staff member provided them with an area away from the rooms to smoke in - and the whole stay was transformed to a pleasant one for families.
