Central to where we wanted to visit. Nice comfy beds. Helpful and friendly staff Plenty of parking free. Lift.

No microwave. Faulty electric multi cord(replaced). Rooms need decorating.

Stayed one night. Good location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Shared bathroom was tiny and shower stall good size but water pressure and temperature from shower head very tempremental

Shared bathroom was small and shower pressure very light. Outside renovations with scaffolding was a bit of a nuisance with work being undertaken late at night. Would have benefitted with air-conditioning to improve air circulation and heat at night. Fan provided did not work.

Good value for money. Friendly staff. Great restaurant in church across the road.

Rooms were ready early which was a bonus and our two rooms were side by side which was helpful. Great sized room, with lots of towels & supplies. Communal kitchen facilities and simple supplied DIY breakfast was handy. Great location. Rooms are old & a bit tired looking, but for this price point, can't complain. Handy location for a night after the evening Hobbiton banquet, 25 minute drive away.

Our room was exactly as expected from photos. Very clean, comfy bed, big enough, clean bathroom, lovely shower. It was very quiet overnight and we had a good sleep.

Really suited our visit to Cambridge to visit family. The staff were very helpful. Our room was clean and beds were warm and comfortable. Our room was close to the old fashioned but convenient lift.

The bathroom was rather too small, but the shower was excellent. Unfortunately our TV reception was having a lot of interference. We should have complained, but didnt see any staff at the time. May have been a faulty connection.

The location was perfect for our needs. I liked that we were able to have adjoining rooms with our friends.The communal showers were close to our rooms ? The dining room - nice place to chat to others guests

There was nothing I didn't like

I am a regular. I have used this motel many times when I travel to and from Gisborne and Kaitaia. Everything is just right, especially the off street parking for my motorbike. The included DIY brekkie is a bonus.

The room is dated and tired but clean and suitable for my needs. Bouncy bed but beautifully crisp and clean linen.

Vent above shower is a bit scary, needs cleaning.

The overhead lighting in the room was quite dim but the bedside lamps helped to brighten it upThe ceiling fan was a bit dodgy but there was a working air con unit

Nice clean amenities and good location.

Lack of spoons in shared kitchen.Suggest paoer towels in the bathroom or hand dryer for hand drying as would save on use of hand towels as these weren't replaced throughout the evening.TV tuning coukd also do with a check.Otherwise fantastic value and location.

Not enough constant replenishment of tea towels in kitchen, always ran out.Fuses out in kitchen area.More attention needed to the cleanliness of fridges in the kitchen.Our shower was patched up with tape, not very appealing.

When having a shower the shower tray would not drain properly, and beds needed new bed covers as old ones are very marked

The shower pressure was great and on gas, not cylinder. The beds also very comfy and nicley cleaned rooms.

Got a park when I arrived. However after then going into town and back there was only 1 very small carpark left (not ideal for SUV or larger).VERY paperthin walls and loud pipes. And noisy doves outside the windows early morning.

Great location, park the car and walk into town. Close to cafés and shops.
