We had no dislikes

My buddy and I stayed here. The room was large with a bed and pull out. The bathroom was spacious and good water pressure. The location was not far from the centre and took about 20-25 minutes to walk into town. We didn't have a car. I would recommend.

The location was perfect. Close to the Hobbiton Movie Set one way and Matamata the other way. The staff were so friendly, and the one time I did have a parking issue and I had to call them, they found a solution right away. I saw in other reviews people mentioned the noise, I don't know if we just got lucky, but we had no issues at all.

Did not realize the location was no the main road and adjacent the railway line. A noisy night.Everything else was good.

Nice 2 bedroon apartment with kitchenette. Quick drive into Motueka. Rooms were clean (would have liked option of 2 double beds). Quiet at night.

It was quite hot in the rooms - particularly the mezanine. Some better air flow/air con would have been appreciated.

This is an older style motel but it is well kept and furniture and fittings are modern. Beds comfortable. Kitchen area had all that we needed. Friendly staff.

All good, but if you are worried about highway and railway traffic noise, this was minimal initially but it did not affect our sleep.

This was an excellent motel- exceptionally clean, comfortable, well located and very friendly helpful staff.

Bed was comfortable and room clean and spacious

It was roomy, easy to find on google maps, clean crisp sheets and the host was friendly.

The room we were in needs some maintenance, curtain had a rip in it, there were cobwebs in the corner of upstairs room and a dampish smell from the bathroom downstairs, the couch had chewing gum stuck to it and the bed in the downstairs room was covering a part of the wall that needed repainting.

Clean and spacious apartment with small tubes of shampoos provided. Also hot chocolate drinks with the tea and coffee selection was a nice touch. Feijoa plant down the road on the way to Matamata provided some free fruit too

Good 30 minute walk into Matamata

The room was huge with a sofa, table and chairs as well as a bed. The kitchen area was also roomy with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

There was quite a bit of road and train noise throughout the night.

Room very dated, was ok for the money but a splash of paint would make the world of difference.Hairdryer didn't work. No aircon. TV scrambled on most channels.
