Matamata Central Motel

Nice room ! Easy walk to restaurants, great shower!

Nothing to mention

Good location foe Hobbiton and very powerful ahower

No instructions for using hob,

It was close to town but far enough away to be quiet. Well stocked for cooking and coffee

Great location for both visiting Hobbiton and the local restaurants and bars.

Cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in, lovely host, comfortable and well appointed. Hosts have thought of everything to make stay very comfortable

Very easy access and parking with our van in front of the rooms. The hosts were very friendly. The nearby centre has nice restaurants; breakfast was wonderful there.Everything in the rooms was clean and complete. We really enjoyed our stay and would book there again without any doubt!

Spacious and clean; lovely manager and Katrina !

We’ve stayed at the motel before and choose it each time we’re in the area. It’s tidy, functional and clean.

We came home with some insect bites. We’re not sure how or why.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Staff were very friendly.Spacious, clean, and well-equipped apartment. Highly recommended.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday.

A very warm welcome, attentive and friendly staff, with helpful advice. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped room. Highly recommended.

Clean and tidyStaff were very helpfulLocation right opposite a New World supermarket

Lack of power points

Everything. Spacious modern supremely clean & comfortable. Management are so very friendly. Absolutely loved our stay

The bed was very comfortable

It was very strange not having any electric plugs in the bathroom and having to use an extension cord for the hair drier!! The microwave was so low down we couldnt read the instructions and the dishes were all at ground level!! I know we were in a room for disabled people but they don't live on the ground!!!

Clean and spacious room. Modern bathroom with powerful shower. Peaceful location, with a supermarket directly opposite the motel and only a 5 to 10 minute walk into town for shops and restaurants.Secure garage to store our bicycles overnight. Helpful friendly staff.

Very nice, tidy, well equipped motel. Short drive to main town. Friendly staff. Mints and fresh bottled milk on arrival a nice, welcoming touch . On site parking. Very peaceful place

Maybe just a small oven in room would have been helpful for our family but not a big deal

Easy to find in a nice spot close to town, staff are kind and accommodating

Highly recommend, welcoming friendly staff, rooms are very tidy, clean and spacious exceeded our expectations.

Great location for our Hobbiton tour the next day. We loved being able to walk into town and there was a grocery store right across the street. Room was spacious and comfy.

Wish there were more windows to open. It was a little stuffy inside.

We stayed here because we were going to hobbiton. Loved the place. Staff were helpfull and pleasant. Place was very clean. I had made a mistake when booking and forgot to add an extra bed. They were pleasant and set up the extra bed for us while we out for dinner.
