I really enjoyed my stay at the Mystery Creek Hotel the whole overall experience was amazing room was tidy really helpful staff the cooking area was big so much space and I really enjoyed where he hotel was with an amazing scenic view Rooms were amazing

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, and Tidy. I would stay there again.

Definitely like the convenience, location, and the value for the space, as well as a nicely functioning, bathroom and temperature control/heating. Convenient to have a good laundry onsite as well.

Privacy could've been a bit better (we had a young boy follow us right into our doorway when we were unpacking, asking all kinds of questions and looking inside at our room/items - it seemed as if he was with the family who ran the place). The driveway had some access issues, and the turn into the parking lot was precarious, with pavement upheaval issues that could've been a problem for a smaller car.

Lovely, convenient location to the Mystery Creek Event centre, and a quiet farmland location. I even liked being woken up by a distant rooster :) Friendly staff and late reception hours. I got some fresh milk for a morning coffee. The room I got was HUGE: One dbl bedroom, a single bdm, and the lounge featured two more beds. Decent kitchen amenities, with liquid soap and shampoo in the shower.

Pathways could use some night lighting to help avoid puddles and low-level obstacles.It wasn't very insulated. My stay was over a cold night. Bedding was adequate, but a little thin.Two lights operating on a two-switch circuit were having problems. Turning them on with one switch: fine. Using another switch: flickering, like there was a faulty connection (I reported the fault).

No in room facilities. All in Camp kitchen. Had to leave room to access toaster, microwave, cutlery plates etc. in our room tv on wall with no vision to it. Had to change rooms.

It was exactly what we needed for a few nights. Good staff, good facilities. Nice and clean

Family unit. Rooms double and single, nice and roomy. Kitchen nice sized for cooking with utensils, pots, crockery. Nice big table to fit 6 easy a spacious dining/lounge area, nice big sofa and 2 single beds which took up little space of the living area. Better than what we expected. Will definitely return if in the area.

A working oven would have been nice but a menial negative.

affordable. good showers. near our activity. Easy to find via google. Appreciated the staff staying out for late xhck in at 9:30pm

no lighting on driveway/entrance so hard to figure out where to drive and get in to facility as we were a late check in-possibly need more solar lights or reflective strips or security lights so idiots like me who cant see where to go dont keep driving over your garden. Lots of dead ants on pillow on bed. Mould on sink

We stayed in a cabin. If you aren't going to be spending time there during the day it was a great place. The bed was the most comfortable that we have had anywhere in NZ or Australia - firm but not hard. The shower pressure was fabulous. The shared kitchen was really well stocked. It was quiet & easy to find.

The numbers above the doors were quite hard to see, until you knew what you were looking for! The only other thing was it would have been nice to have had 2 chairs in the cabin so one of us didn't have to sit on the bed to eat breakfast. Both of those were very minor things.

The visit went well, but was unfortunately cut short due to a family crisis. The staff were very helpful and the unit was very clean. The kitchen was adequate.

The location was great for what we required. The room was clean but quite old and dated and in need of serious updating.

The staff member who checked us in said less than 10 words and didn't explain anything just handed over two keys. The room was adequate but old and dated and there was no remote for the tv. When I went to enquire, the reception door was locked and no name or number to contact.The pressure on the shower was low then virtually nothing the following morning.
