I have to say it was fabulous the rooms clean and tidy they have cooking facilities. it is a bit older but has everything you need for a comfortable staythe lady that runs it was absolutely outstanding I recommend

Tired MotelBadly in need of redecorating. Sofa was filthy with grime embedded on armrests. Carpet past the cleaning stage and needed replacing.

The location of the motel suited our needs.

Upon arrival, it was observed that the accommodation had a noticeable mustiness, necessitating the aeration of the space through the opening of doors, windows, and ranch sliders. While the premises were maintained with tidiness, there was an evident wear that suggested the need for refurbishment. An initial interaction with a staff member left an impression of distaste and a somewhat unwelcoming perception and attitude on the establishment's policies on noise, gatherings, and alcohol consumption, which were communicated (including) the emphasis on the presence of elderly unwell people staying at the motel. We were not sure if we were staying at a motel or a rest home.

The room was dirty , had stains on the carpet and a big rip , it wasn’t clean and it was freezing .

Mavis, the owner, accommodated my partner and I after we received news at 9pm from Waikato hospital that he was being discharged the next day. With hardly any motel rooms available due to the Womens Soccer World Cup 2023, I initially tried to pay using my debit card but was messaged that it was invalid? I did not own a credit card so phoned Mavis who left a voice mail to let me know it was ok and my booking was secure and we could sort payment out when I arrived. Fortunately my partner’s sister learnt of my dilemna and used her credit card to cover our stay. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Comfortable beds, a kitchen to prepare a meal, plenty hot water for showers, oil and panel heaters on full lovely woollen blankets to snuggle in on a very cold winter’s night. Parking was right outside our apartment. It was a pleasure to meet Mavis, who came and asked if we were ok. Thank you so much Mavis and to Yash for showing me to our room and for taking us in at such late notice. We had all we needed and felt safe and warm.

Lighting very dull. Bare walls made for a very bleak appearance. Be aware that a credit card is required to secure booking - debit card will not do.

New bathroom and freindly staff

Dirty sheets, sketchy neighbourhood,

nice beds, comfortable, close to shops and everything you need

a few plates etc weren’t clean on arrival.
