Lake Point Motel

They upgraded my room for free. Clean, tidy

The room had a dedicated parking space.

This was listed as a 3 star hotel but in reality is is a 1.5 or a 2 at best. The mattress was VERY old with multiple stains on it. Didn't sleep at all because it was so uncomfortable. The pillows were so thin that we had to use towels from the bathroom.

Location was amazing. Friendly staff and spa was nice and clean.

Wifi connection and speed wasn't too good and the the smell in the room the time we entered wasn't welcoming.

We arrived after 10pm for just one night and left early in the morning, so we didn’t see the surroundings. The hotel itself looked nice, with parking available. Our room was spacious, appeared to have been recently refurbished, and was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Right in town, down the road from Hamilton Lake! Wasn’t too noisey/didn’t really hear the traffic.

If you care about the shower then it is a little outdated but other than that it’s good!

It’s location. Close to hospital, town centre and lake.Seemed clean, bed comfortable enough.Staff great.Value for money.

Old, dark room. bad kitchen set up, no bedside table and lamps. Cheap nasty bed pillows.

The Location was great and a nice spacious room.

It was quite hot in Hamilton. Maybe a fan would be a good idea.

I liked the location of the motel and the beds were comfy. The staff manager who was on was amazing.

Our Air con didnt work properly, the beds weren't how we asked as we asked for a king and 2 singles but got 2 kings, however, we made do with what we had and there wasnt enough plates and cutlery for our number if guests

Was a very good location for us given we had a family member in hospital. Very comfortable beds with good quality linen, an older motel but very comfortable.

The shower head needs attention in unit 9 and the skirting boards in bathroom could do with a wipe due to dust build up, the outside could do with a little waterblast but we were very happy with our stay indeed.

Reeked of old cigarette smoke which had been masked with deodoriser, the smell was overpowering and not very pleasant.Shady person knocked on my door at about 10 pm at night, pretty insistent that the person she was looking for was inside my room … not cool at all.

The room were nice and big with a big bathroom.

Rooms were surprisingly Larger then anticipated.Location was perfect.Great staff,very respectful and attentive.Very happy customers.

Location to cbd was excellent

We arrived at 2pm so the room should have been cleaned but as soon as we stepped inside the room there were ants all over the sink

Firm beds, functional and spacious. Very good location, close to the supermarket. Definitely value for money.

We found our bed to be too firm for our liking and the pillows too thin and soft
