    Cons -

    • I did not like the level of customers staying here, was kept up with fights going on into the wee hours of the morning. Was greeted one night with a man bleeding badly from his hand, had to call reception as I was too scared to enter my room. Not good
    • Our room was very rundown, and it was terribly noisy -- I think it was a combination of rowdy neighbors and thin walls.

What I liked best about this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

I really can't say that there was anything I didn't like about the hotel.

We booked a 1 bed room apartment but instead they gave us a studio. Very bad experience.

    Not enjoyable.

    1. Saying they had to scan my credit card to cover a $200 bond.2.Problems with TV. No Sky, could not get free to view TV, 2, 3 or 4. Only digital available but then even that didn't work as when on went to view TVNZ+ it wanted my own login in details to view. Wouldn't accept my login, however I could view on my laptop using same login details.

    bed and kitchen area clean

the heat pump didn't work too well, the bathroom tiles / walls/ shower were a bit grimy, and it was super frustrating that the only option for lighting was 'all lights on' or 'all lights off'. I had the choice of the room being way too bright, or completely dark.

Location is excellent for going to the city or to the rugby stadium. 6 minutes walk to the stadium. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Theres a countdown supermarket directly across the street, which is handy.

Noisy. Walls are thin, and single glazing. But overall still great value. Remembering this is Hamilton and very central, so a fair bit of car noise, etc. There was some rowdiness from other guests, but they settled down about midnight. Possibly could have asked staff to ask them to quieten down, but hey, it was a Saturday night and the Chiefs had just kicked the Brumbies butts.... so maybe to be expected.

very very clean and modern. the outside is a bit tired, but the rooms inside have been updated really nicely. pillows really comfy, bed a little hard but comfy. very little noise outside & the room itself was quite big. Good shower pressure.

drain in bathroom was smelly, could use some draino to clean it out or something.
