Hamilton Settlers Motor Lodge

Location is good and within easy walking distance to Pick n Save and Coffee. Room was clean and kitchen well equipped.

The host was absolutely brilliant. When our needs changed be swapped our rooms, he accommodated every request with a smile.

Great motel -lovely staff :) would have stayed a day longer but had to go home . Aircons would have been great but it is so seldom it is needed. It was 29 degrees . Easy access to town - fairly quiet and everything we needed was there .

Could use an aircon but only needed when it is super hot .

Clean, tidy, lovely room with everything you need. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Great location, easy to find.

It was super hot, no air con but they provided a fan and the windows could latch open a bit so was able to leave them open all night.

Didn't have breakfast.Location was good.

As my wife & myself are in our 80's, a ground floor unit would have been better.

It was last minute decision to stay the night in Hamilton so was grateful to be able to book a nice room.

No English breakfast teabags. Even the milk portions have been victim to shrinkflation. Otherwise a great stay for two tired weary Travellers.

We were lucky to be upgraded with spa bath, lazy boy chair, comfy beds. The room had everything we needed. Staff was lovely to deal with.

Excellent manager with great can do attitude. Clean tidy, central location.. Very accommodating manager Bing helping with hot upstairs room. Offerring pull out bed for lounge area which had a overhead fan.. Serviced daily which was a benefit, especially with towel changes and overall cleanliness. Management investing in improvements. Had a big group of us so did well to accommodate everyone.

Spacious room, amazing bath, comfortable bed, and quiet. Definitely stay again, super close to town and shops.

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment for our family of 5. Great amount of space, the rooms had everything we needed and the extra toilet and laundry facilities were a bonus. The owner was super helpful, even giving us wipes to clean our shoes after a day of hiking! Great location just outside of central Hamilton.

Smokers sitting outside in next room. The smell came into our room. Stompy people upstairs on our last night.

Bing, he was the hotel manager who greeted us. He was polite and courteous. He had a no-fuss demeanor, and we understood everything he explained to us. A nice clean room and amenities, the other huge plus, the beds were comfier than most expensive hotel rooms! We had no concerns or questions, just a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.

2nd time staying there great for a quick trip up to Hamilton, Bing recognized us from our previous stay which made it more personal.

Location and ease of parking. Excellent host.

There was no door on the upstairs bedroom in the two storey 1bdrm unit - only an issue as hubby had sinus & snored terribly. He slept downstairs.

New carpet, appeared freshly painted. Handy location. Very spacious 2 bed apartment. Hosts very welcoming, appreciated the biscuits in the room.

The room was cosy and had all amenities needed. It was quiet considering it being close to the main road. Enjoyed our stay here.Also special mention for customer service - the owners are very lovely and welcoming.

Location was great, Staff were extremely helpful - Bing and his wife are lovely people. The room was good and had the bonus of two toilets one upstairs as part of the main bathroom and one downstairs

Could have been a bit cleaner inside, possibly curtain or blind in the upstairs bathroom was very hot and no blind to keep the sun out, couldn't find the iron & ironing board but Bing did say it may have been moved and not put back - we would have gone looking but our time was limited and we had to get ready to go to our whanau event. Car parks could be allocated directly outside the rooms by painting room numbers on them

The management were very welcoming, cheerful and friendly. Gave us a choice of room for our comfort. Room was tidy and adequate for our purposes. The cleaning lady was very good at her job. We appreciated the clean towels every day. Lovely powerful shower. The bed was comfortable. 2 fans helped to keep us cool.

The small fridge was a little noisy for such a confined space, but otherwise not a problem.
