    Pros +

    • Hotel Employee was wonderful. We arrived very late, 1:30 am, and she left the key under the mat for us. When we met her the next morning, she was the sweetest motel owner I've ever met.
    • The Staff were Very Accommodating when I asked if I could change from an upstairs room to a downstairs room because my wife had difficulty climbing stairs.Very Courteous staff when servicing rooms.
    • Really spacious room with separate kitchen/dining room which was appreciated as I stayed over the festive period! The staff were so lovely and helpful too. Short walks to Hamilton Lake, and the city centre.

    Cons -

    • Wish we could have stayed longer! Hotel Employee explained that there was a hot air balloon show that very weekend. We'lll catch it next year and definitely stay at the Tudor.
    • Could you please fix the sink taps, loose handles and hard to turn off . Sorry to be picky, I'm an ex plumber and that does not go down well with me.Otherwise no Complaints.
    • No ice in the freezer

The place was okay considering most rooms were taken by hospital patients and I had my 3 children with us and they were constantly told to be quiet which was really annoying cause it was just after we checked in around 2.30 and they were just laughing and being normal next minute people were complaining too the front desk about my children n all we notice on the walls were quiet times between 10 pm n 7am I fully understand that but it was only early afternoon.Gummon!!

    Central location.

Rooms are run down, exposed wires on electric blanket.

Reasonably priced, close to where I needed to be, lots of parking and warm :). And they are nice to cats

It’s not as up to date as other places, but I don’t need that modern :). I prefer that it’s clean and the people are nice :)

Quiet location, clean and comfy beds

    Proximity to bus station.

I'd be unable to cook there, poor kitchen facilities, plates. We would not stay there again.

Furniture and decor are outdated and worn out. I could see old rubbish and thrown out furniture out the back

The room felt a bit grotty and outdated, musty and old.

The beds were very comfortable and having an extra tv and heat pump in the bedroom was great.

Our unit didn't have any soap for showering just liquid hand soap. And there was grime around the inside of the shower.

The lady at the reception was lovely. We have been also given some fresh milk to keep in the room for tea and coffee. Each room had a private parking which was lock in on the property. Room clean, very big.

It was close to the city, plenty of room, clean and tidy.

Carrying heavy luggage up flight of stairs, bed was a bit hard for my liking.

    8LauraPosted on: 2-3-2025

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Although the decor of the room was older it was clean and tidy. The shower pressure was great. It was easy to leave early the next morning with clear instructions on what to do if the reception was closed.

    Not a lot

Very very basic. The place is very basic though it seemed clean it was very run down. Very little cooking utensils. No cooking oil 1 pot 1 pan, no chopping board. Definitely wouldn’t recommend
