The general location is excellent, being on a slightly quieter street, but still really handy to downtown bars and restaurants, beaches and walks. The apartment itself was roomy and sunny, fully equipped and comfortable, and suitable for an overnight stay or something longer term.

We personally, perhaps because we are not all that tech savvy, were unable to operate the main room t.v., truly a very minor niggle for an otherwise awesome visit.

Needed aircon

Liked the location and that the room had a laundry, as my son had a four day basketball tournament so was able to wash his gear every night. The parking was great being under cover, secure and saved us getting soaked as it rained the entire 4 days we were there!

On booking the apartment for my son (12 years old) and I, the bed arrangement was a double, so I phoned after booking on booking.com and asked for 2 singles beds but was told they did not do that, and all rooms only had double beds. I thought this was odd as many people would stay not as a couple wanting to share a bed, however they did offer me a trundler bed which would cost an extra $30 per night extra! I wasn’t too happy as I felt they should have just included with the already quite high rate. When we arrived around 7pm the reception had closed but found keys in lockbox. I set up the trundler bed and when my son went to sleep in it he couldn’t as the mattress was so thin the metal base in the middle where it folds was digging into his back. As he had four days of basketball and needed good night sleeps I slept on the horrible bed, ended up ditching it during the night and sleeping on just the mattress on the floor which was so thin it was like sleeping on a blimin blank! As we were leaving early and returning late I didn’t get a chance to complain, and knowing they couldn’t give us 2 singles didn’t think there was much point so put up with it. I believe paying almost $1200 for myself and son for 4 nights one would expect not to sleep on the floor. I should not have been charged extra for that horrible trundler bed!!

Location was great. And unit was functional with laundry and cooking utensils available. Easy walks to beach and Mt. Maunganoi.

Property is old but functional and clean. View from our unit was unattractive.

Great location. Spacious apartment. Easy check in/out with friendly team. The car parking is very tight for what was only a mid range suv. We couldn’t actually park in our space but we were luckily able to park out front for the evening.

The staff was so kind. This apartment is located in a good spot where you can go everywhere near Mount Maunganui. It was very convenient to go shopping too. I would stay here again.

Easy booking, great communication with booking and prior to check in, easy check in, friendly, helpful, informative staff, car park, great location easy 2min walk to wharf and beautiful sunset, cafe’s bars and shops around the corner, evening markets were across the road when we stayed. Beds were comfortable, beautiful homely decor, shower great pressure, pool was awesome, gym use was great, offered two room keys for our group if needed and a big hit were the plugs by bed lol, we have stayed here before and with another great stay will definitely stay again.

The location was perfect! Close to the Mount, beach and shops.

Very well equipped and comfortable apartment located near the center. We didn’t have any problems but the people we were with had some noise from neighbors during the night.

Location was fabulous - short walk to shops and restaurants one way; slightly longer walk to the bay and Mount Maunganui the other way. The Apartment was well appointed and clean. We really appreciated the laundry facilities. We had a small balcony and although it didn’t have a spectacular views, we were able to sit in the sun and see Mt Maunganui in the distance. We didn’t use the gym or pool, but both looked inviting. Parking was included and the building was very secure.

We were upgraded and had a lovely 2 bed apartment with sliding doors onto street level. also liked the pool and that it had bar-b-q facilities and that we could just walk to the beach and restaurants and shops

No bedside lamps. the ones on the wall are too bright or not in a convenient position to read in bed.

Location and size of room

Bigger bed, better glassware, and cupboard were too high for my wife

The staff were really helpful and friendly. Awesome location . Unit was to a high standard with everything we needed. Loved the pool and spa area and even noticed they also had a gym. Amazing place to base yourself while visiting the area .

Leaving as we wished we could have had longer there.
