Great location with parking. Awesome swimming pool. Friendly staff. Large room with large comfortable bed.

The bathroom was old and dated. Expensive for the quality of the room.

The room we had , 116 was extremely susceptible to street noise. The night before my event, The half ironman, boy racers and motorbikes continually circuited the roads outside until approx 2.00 am making sleep impossible. I was so frazzled with no sleep and medications that I was unable to participate which was completely disappointing. I would like to come back but be in rooms 102-111 if possible

i liked the location and the bed was so comfortable

the microwave was rusty. Not enough utensils for cooking, it said toiletries supplied the was a soap dispenser in the shower did not know if it was shower gel shampoo or what. Soap dispenser at the sink i was allergic to. You would be charged if i left dirty dishes (which i never do, but found it disgusting especially what i paid to stay there) The first lady at the reception was lovely friendly and helpful but the man on reception after that was rude and never spoke to you. No complementary milk.

Good location, nice large bed, clean, good overnight stay. Secure parking. friendly cleaners.

check in at 3pm and checking out by 10am , felt a short stay. Needs to be 2pm and 10:30 am to really be value for money.

It was clean and spacious

Dated needs a lick of paint and the decor was very ugly (art etc.) Someone was cooking very smelly fish which stank out the corridor terribly. The fridge buzzed really loudly.

The location was excellent and the bed was comfortable.

Part of the reason I booked was due to the swimming pool, unfortunately this has not been in use since March 2025 and this has not been updated on Booing.com but is updated on the actual Website. I was disappointed about this. also asked a staff member about gym and Sauna usage down the corridor and she directed me to ask the boss, which made me wonder if this wasn't available either. I think staff should be able to answer questions about facilities.

Location was great. Room was spacious.

I was surprised that after having completed the booking and paid the rate on booking.com, we got a separate email from the hotel asking for an additional $250 refundable deposit as a security bond. In all my years using booking.com, this is the first time I have ever been asked for this kind of extra payment. While agreeing to pay it, I expressed this surprise to the sole staff member on duty. The publicity on booking.com claimed that the property had a pool, but when we got there and asked about it, the pool was closed for maintenance and we were referred to a commercial pool across the road where we were offered a discounted rate as guests of the hotel. When we got to our room, the carpet outside the bathroom was quite wet (enough to feel through our socks). Instructions for using the carpark were confusing as there are two sections in the carpark: one for hotel guests, and another for regular residents. Maintenance staff in the carpark were unable to direct us to the allocated space.

The lobby and corridors stunk of old curry. The heated swimming pool was not in use even though it was advertised on the advert as having one. Only after I booked and paid did a message come through saying it was out of use. when I asked the man at reception he argued that he was not stated before I booked. The gym was in use but a construction zone inside with tools, paint, no toilet or bathroom, exposed pipes and wires. Should not have been allowed in there. Than man said don't worry about it. Man at reception was incredibly rude. The room itself was nice. Would not go back though due to the staff and misrepresentation of the facilities.

Bed was uncomfortable, luck of milk and coffee, hard work getting bond paid back.

The room was clean & spacious. Sabby & Jess were very friendly & welcoming. Facilities were adequate for preparing meals however the location allowed us to purchase beautiful meals. It is located in an ideal position within walking distance to beaches & shops although bus also available on a nearby corner. We would recommend Ocean Beach resort & would return again if the opportunity arose.

Whilst not a complaint but merely a suggestion, the towels could be upgraded & consideration given to firmer mattress. Despite these minor comments , I would stay again even just to catch up with Sabby & Jess.!

Great location very comfortable. Excellent kitchen facilities. overall it was very easy to live in.

We were disappointed with the ocean view. While we certainly had one it, was very small between 2 buildings and, only being on the second floor reduced the outlook. Probably our expectations were unrealistic so I certainly did not let this small matter affect what was overall a fantastic experience.

Huge room and had everything you needed, well equipped kitchen, great for a long stay. Decor was very dated and the bed was old with springs but still comfortable enough. Location was great across from the hot pools and the beach. Short flat walk to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The reception staff were lovely at check-in. I think it was really good value for money, I would stay here again but would probably bring my own bedding.

It could have been cleaner and updated decor would be nice i.e. pillows, furniture. The comforter on the bed did not have a cover on it so made me worry that it was not washed often. The spare blanket looked quite old and the pillows seemed quite old too. I think if they could update these things it would be the perfect Mount stay!

Whe I booked I was not sure if the room came with bath tub and this what I wanted as it get cold at night and would have been nice so when I arrived at reception I asked if the room came with bath and the lady said no but said she could give me a bigger room so I obviously assumed that this would come with a bath tub but no it was just a bigger room. So not sure why she would upgrade me without a bath tub as this is what I requested really stupid stuff ?

Water pressure in shower

Extremely noisy, uncomfortable soft old bed, shabby interior, scant kitchen items, 2 mismatched wine glasses, the interior was old and tired, Rules everywhere telling of extra charges if you don't wash your dishes, put out rubbish and so on. Very tacky!
