Location was good,quiet. cozy stay. not far from the highly rated waingaro pub.

Other residents noise. no clear parking. wifi slow at some points.

We spent 3 nights here. It's a nice place to stay. Great location to visit common places for tourist within 3-hour drive. The room is clean and has an air-condition which is apparently rare for a motel in NZ. The host arranged for my late check-in well as he is only there until 5 pm. The kitchenette is well-equipped which is helpful.

If only the kitchen cabinet is clean, it'll be a spotless place., A pity that everything is clean, even the dish washing sponge is new.

The staff was helpful.

The unit needs a lot of maintenance, the bathroom smelt of cat urine and the hand basin needs replacing. The window in the bedroom has broken latches, and the whole unit needs repainting.

Not much

Clean enough but floors and decking rotting so multiple soft spots. Rose bush beside step with large thorns. Curtain rails falling down, beds are old and saggy, cupboards screwed shut... Lawns needed mowing. Someone just needs to care. Maintenance lacking.

Clean, tidy and comfortable. Nice and warm with the heat pump.

The greeting at reception was very warm, friendly and helpful

Wifi reception was weak in my room and I wasn't able to cast to the TV from my phone. Otherwise everything was excellent

I took my own Breakfast . In Gluten free and Dairy free .I used the Microwave to Heat the food I took with me . . I was Happy with everything Provided .

There was nothing I didn't like .

Not a good hotel to stay. Not Clean and A/C didn't work, No smart TV . Bad Experience

A/C didn't work, no smart TV. Booked the room 2 weeks earlier to our arrival date and Manger says A/C not working. I confirmed the room facilities before booking and he never mentioned before the AC didn't work but says it upon arrival. Its the management responsibility to look after these things. Will anyone will ask A/C is working or not and about each and everything before booking room. Not clean in some areas. TV was not a smart TV. Found even last user's slippers under the bed.

The facility was clean and quite. The owner was very accomodating and efficient. We needed a place to stay and this met our needs.

Right out of the 1970s clean, relatively quiet at night, amenities good, but shower head needs some love!

Room layout allowed for space to relax as a family. The grass area outside the room allowed for a green space for our children.

Could have more chairs for the table, crockery and utensils to cater for 4 people.

The headboard on the bed was loose so evertime you rolled over it banged against the wall. Really annoying.

We found Casa Mexicana met all our expectations. It was a clean and spacious room and everything was as described. The manager was helpful.

Had everything we needed. Liked the queen bed being separated from the single beds by a door. Very clean and tidy.

Can't say much about the customer service. Rang the bell and a disgruntled man appeared out of a side window. Asked my name and how much the booking said it would cost...felt like I was disturbing him and not checking in

Clean, comfy bed, friendly manager. Spacious room. On a busy road about 1.5kms from town centre, but traffic noise inside the unit was low.

Tired, basic poor condition kitchen, poor lighting, bathroom floor/flooring seemed in bad condition. Towels weren't changed although we left them on the bathroom floor, and toilet rolls weren't replaced - in fact, although the manager said otherwise, we don't think a cleaner went in at all during our stay.
