Tudor Lodge Motel

Very quiet and cosy motel, just a short drive from Hawera's town centre. The rooms were very clean (with daily service included!) and the kitchenette had lots of utensils, cutlery and tableware. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Found getting into the shower over spa bath difficult Unit 7, family in Unit 9 said shower was slippery

Very easy check-in and check-out. Hosts were lovely, but we weren't at the property for a very long time due to other commitments. Easy to get to being on the main highway.

Not much in the way of shops or cafes etc. in the immediate vicinity without jumping in the car.

The host was extremely hospitable on the phone when we needed to stay an extra night. I had booked online for a different room because our original one was booked out. She called to assist me, and we were able to stay in the same room for 2 days. The 'extra mile' service and warm welcome are something we will remember and tell our whanau and friends about when we go home.The room was clean and welcoming. The spa bath was a treat after a 7 hour journey. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept soundly.The cleaners came in to freshen up the room, and the little touches of luxury were noticed!

Not a thing…one suggestion for the two bedroom unit is to ensure there is always a spare roll of loo paper

Awesome stay here at Tudor Lodge Motel. After a long drive to matatini from Auckland and being in the sun all day all my family and I wanted was a nice shower and bed and this place was worth every penny!! The kind wonderful women (I think she may have been the owner) greeted me with a cheerful smile as well and was very accommodating. Thank you so much, Beds were so comfy! There was sky tv great for my kids and even had movies. My favorite was the shower. Such awesome water pressure. I highly recommend this place.

The lady staff member on the phone just made my check in so easy we travelled late and got in late but she made it so easy for us our room was lovely had everything we needed so worth the price, was perfect for our weekend thank you so much for making our night easy peasy that day was a long day will defs be back next time I’m in Taranaki

Queen bed was comfyfit both me and my 11 month old god daughtermy sister said she had a really good sleep in the room, really comfy, her blanket was nice and softaircon made it so much betterrelaxing couchesblankets were cuddlystaff was fabulous especially when i arrived earlier than i mentioned but she was so cool about it. which made it extra relaxing

Clean room which was cleaned while we were out. Spacious and comfortableLady at reception was super lovely, air con in the room was fantastic as it was really hot and we had gone for a walk so was lovely.

Oh maybe the kitchen rubbish bin could be a teeny bit bigger but other then that nothing really

We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit, it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Felt more like home that a hotel room. Beds were comfy and water pressure was good. Plenty of space in the rooms. Hosts are fantastic and more than accommodating for our 16 month old and supplied a cot with blankets, high chair, mess mat and a non slip pad for the bath.Room was serviced every day and restocked. Would 100 percent stay here again.

My only gripe is that the air con unit has a pump to pump out water and it's a bit loud at night.

Wow such a great place to stay! So clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, nice and open and sunny, large tv, comfortable couches, hot spa bath and super friendly reception when we arrived. The shower is super high pressure but felt great, and the spa bath was amazing. Plenty of parking space. Quiet. It was so so clean! It felt like being at my grandparents house :D

The only thing honestly was the proximity to the cell towers and the beds could have been slightly more comfortable! They just sagged a little in the middle but a new mattress wouldn’t go amiss.

Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location was quiet and the owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a small issue with one of our motorcycles and Mr Diederik lent us some tools to fix it (it worked!)

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The owners were friendly and accomodating. The unit was spacious and just what we needed for our two night stay.
