Clean room, bed and washing facilities. Good value for price.

Parking area was tight and at one stage couldnt get in due to 4 wheel drive vehicles parking.

Great staff and a great room. Bed was super comfortable and having Sky was a bonus. Supermarket just a short drive down the road

I liked that the motel is located not far from Dargaville town centre.

The bathroom door latch was not working. The shower door did not go all the way to the floor. This allowed water to splash onto the bathroom floor.

Very comfortable, clean, and large rooms.

The room had everything I needed. Easy parking & good in room facilities

An extractor fan and heated towel rail would be welcome additions to the bathroom

Comfortable new king bed and new bathroom. Staff helpful recommending restaurants.

No internal door handles or locks, lounge too small for 2 people, strong disinfectant smell in room which was off-putting. Unfortunately we ran out of water and could not shower or flush the toilet in the morning which was not ok. Apparently there was a lack of water in the town. Staff should have advised us beforehand.

Reasonable location

Very thin walls. Neighbour snoring was very loud, not to mention crying baby in the night

Nice looking out on the pool. Friendly staff. The shower was good. Nice supple of tea, coffee & biscuits.

We weren't able to use the TV. There was no air conditioning.

This is a great motel, very close to town. Our unit was a good size and had everything we needed for our stay. Extra towels for the pool were super handy. Reception was fantastic. Kept us safe during the storm.

The beds. Really small, uncomfortable and super soft. If our unit had good quality beds, it would have been a better overall stay.

Great location, only down side was parking was a little tight. Lovely staff

Our room was quite close to the road which was quite busy

The room was very spacious, clean and well laid out. Although we didn't need the kitchen facilities, it had a nice area to prepare, store and refridgerate food along with a sizable sink to wash dishes. Highly recommend going to the Kauri Museum just south about 45 minutes.

The half glass shower door is useless. Water still got outside of the shower/tub and made the floor area very wet and a nuisance to deal with. The room could use some wall decor to warm it up a bit.

Clean, tidy facility had everything expected staff very helpful and polite. Beds were comfortable.

Room was close to road and a little noisy until quite late. I expect the more to the center of the complex would be better as it was reasonability large. Cavity sliders to Bedroom and bathroom had no handles so not the easiest to operate. parking was a little tight but was off road.

Spa bath was great. A goodnight sleep, watch sports live. Finaly a comfy sofa. Others would be too low, soft and sink in. Hard to get up. Upgrade

The dining table must go, its been wobbly for so many years, need to upgrade. Tricky with a drink on it, cause spillage. Hot water temp is still too hot, around 35-37 deg Right side blind has no handle to close them shut. Kitchen needs a seperate light switch. No need to have them all on at once. Too hot and bright. Ants crawling along mirror while enjoying a spa. Try turning it on, they all come running out from a hole behind mirror. Too many hair left on blanket and a few around spa. Cheerzy

The unit we were in was comfortable and had good bathroom facilities.

This I found the bed a wee bit uncomfortable as I could feel the electric blanket wires underneath me.

Did exactly as expected - basic on facilities but clean, safe, easy & well located as a base to break the journey up to Cape Reinga.

Although we didn’t use it the pool complex looked lovely …. Very pleased to have sky tv …the motel manager very friendly and helpful …

Lots of space and comfortable beds. Nice new fridge. Aircon appreciated. Very helpful, friendly staff.

The place just needs a significant makeover. Very old fashioned furniture and kitchen area. Low quality cleaning and showering products. Spa bath was appreciated but took an age to fill.
