The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were clean enough. It was cheap.

. We stayed for 6 nights and according to their room information, the room should have been refreshed after three days. We went out for the day leaving our towels on the bathroom floor, as is the custom to indicate we would like new ones. However our room wasn’t refreshed. I rang the phone number provided and asked what had happened. I was told they would do it the next day. I requested some towels, and although he agreed, no towels turned up that evening or the next morning. We had to wait until the room was refreshed while we were out the next day. . Curtains were broken and would not close properly for privacy, had to use a chair to hold them closed.. Walls, fridge, microwave and bin were dirty. . There were cobwebs with bugs in nearly every corner. . Ashtrays on the balcony had not been emptied. . There were huge piles of dirty laundry outside, near the bottom of the stairs to our room and near reception. . The pool was empty with pool fencing missing in places (? Since COVID) - not like the photos. . The grounds were unkempt and made the place look abandoned - not like the photos

Bad experience

Terrible experience. An Indian man knocked the door at midnight and said it is his room. He showed me a message about the booking information. It seems the reception sent the booking information to both he and me.

Overall good. We were initially scared after reading some extremely bad reviews. Our room was tidy and clean, linen included.

With a bit of effort (not spending too much), the place can improve a lot. Timber fixtures in room, for examy, can be a lot more modern with a bit of polishing and repairs. Cleanliness can be improved by making minor changes.

Location

Whilst the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, the rest of the room was run down, and the cleaning was not to an acceptable level. There were cobwebs throughout the room, and most areas could do with a dusting.

Rooms need updating badly, the grounds need a fair bit of work to bring them up to standard

The place was disgusting, initially when we walked in it looked clean, everything seemed in its place and the beds were made with fresh linen and looked nice and tidy. We then had a look around and noticed dust, dirt, an old bread wrapper tag and dead flies on the window ledges. The bathroom was filthy with mould and soap scum on the lower tiles and the floor, the shower screen had soap scum and God knows whatever else on the glass, it was that disgusting we went to Bawley Point and showered at a friend's place. The kitchen bench was full of toast crumbs where the toaster wasn't moved when the bench was wiped.

Convenient location and good Wi-Fi.

The deodorizer used in the room is very strong and overpowering. I had to open the door for hours to get the smell to dissipate at least a little bit. Also, the room could use a good deep cleaning.

Place needs a revamp, turned on the air conditioner and a cockroach jumped out, cockroach poo on my sheets as well, ended up spraying my whole room including under the bed.

Comfortable bed.

No toilet paper or tissues in room. Mouldy shower. No hot water that night, only got hot water in the morning. Restaurant looked like it last operated in 1970. The pool and spa were also run down and looked to be not in use. Described as a resort.........you are kidding.

Worst place I’ve ever been to

Unclean, carpet is so dirty that if you have shower and walk onto the carpet your feet at black no body cleans rooms nothing abandoned pretty much. Warning do not stay here

Convenient

No breakfast lunch or dinner. Restaurant as advertised not openNo bottled water in the fridge. Sign in room stating you could get meals from a cafe 100m away. The pool was closed due to Covid

BEAWRE HALF THE HOTEL IS NOW LET OUT TO THE HOMELESS SO JUNK AND RUBBISH EVERYWARE , in 2025 COVID is been used as a reason the swimming pool is closed , When you turn up NO Staff on site just phone no: on the office door to ring , the whole site , yard , common area's and rooms need a damm good deep clean , they have a sign in the room ,you must clean your dishs or they will charge you a $100 clean fee , BUT they don't have tea towels or dish brush etc,

It was a great location Nice and quiet It’s a older building but I have been in 5 star motels around the world but this was one of the cleanest I have been in

Needs some attention to cleaning Dusty sills in kitchen area etc Cutting knives need sharpening Very hi pillows other than that Didn’t see any staff requested an SMS for a delivery I had to the property- nothing , I don’t think they check the reception often I looked myself got it from there on the Sunday Morning for my last day of trade at an event ?

Very basic room but sparkling clean, And considering the price, it excellent value for the money . The only glitch was somebody on staff had forgotten to replenish the tea bag supply and we arrived late at night after the office had closed. So no tea for one of us, who had to make do with the instant coffee. Can't say anything about the staff because we never met any . We received a text on the day saying we'd been allocated Room 3 and the key would be in the door. And that was the check in (and out) procedure.

Very unpleasant indeed.

Difficult to contact staff by phone, incorrect phone number on photograph of signage (on website). First of three phone numbers on office door is evidently not connected.The accommodation was really old and grubby. Cabinet work was rotting away. Cupboards were filthy. A speck of old blood on the bottom bedsheet. Faeces splatter on wall next to toilet. Dirty carpet. Bird excrement on windows. Cockroaches under bed. Smoke detector still covered with original wrapping and therefore unserviceable. Swimming pool said to be closed due to Covid (the Covid pandemic is long since passed. If the pool is properly chlorinated, Covid bacteria cannot survive anyway).
