Mornington Hotel

I loved the water pressure in the bathroom. The studio felt very comfortable. The balcony was nice. Staff were excellent and food was nice, delivered to my door fast.

There was a smell of dampness in the room. I've smelt this smell before, and I do believe it is just a quick service/clean of the air-conditioning unit.

The bed was amazing, clean and welcoming.

Some of the bar staff where rude and wouldn't help.

Needed guest coupon discount for bistro when we tried to check in early but couldn’t especially when we said to same staff we will eat there (at bistro)whilst waiting to check in! This was only given after check in

Everything was absolutely amazing! Staff, the room and the food all earned their top stars!

Upper level parking, we had a kea carnival and there was no way of us getting up there, way narrow unfortunately.

An extremely large room and very modern shower. The light breakfast was also appreciated.

Our room was very big and clean, it was serviced every day. The restaurant, food and staff were very nice. The elevator was very good, I didn’t have to carry all my luggage up the stairs.

Would have loved a biscuit to have with a cup of tea when we arrived, why no biscuits, they don’t have to bring flash, a lot of motels are cutting them out, surely not a great cost!!!!

The bistro need to check there meals before they send them out..Order a chicken, pumpkin, spinach and parmeson risotto.. it came out with no chicken or parmeson...had to send it back ...

The size of the room was great, it felt really comfortable .

It would be better if they had a bed clock with a phone charger would be great. The elevator I was not impressed with, I seemed very old, I walked down the stairs as I felt uncomfortable getting into the elevator.

The room is located on top of Mornington Hotel. The room seems very old. Hallway to the rooms are dark and has a musky smell. Overall appearance of the hotel is not really very accommodating. the ramp to the parking is very narrow .

Very basic. I don't think it's worth the price that I paid.

Excellent room with lovely big bath!

Location - a little noisy from the pub and being on a corner could hear traffic

First impression of exterior from main road not appealing, but is not reflective of the hotel interior – note hotel car park and reception are round the back (front is more for the pub). Room is quite plain but extremely spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lovely modern en-suite with great shower. The front rooms overlook a busy main road and you can hear the traffic, but not excessively so.

No microwave. There might be a good reason for this, or perhaps it’s just an encouragement to visit their bistro!

Awkward booking in, then finding the lift to get us up to our floor. Corridors dark

The size of the room. Private parking for hotel patrons. In room dining. Comfort in every way, plenty of space. T.V. air conditioning, wardrobes, kitchen facilities, bathroom was huge.
