Pros +
- Very spacious for families to stay here. We were three sisters in family room so plenty of space for us. Free onsite parking was advertised on website and it surprised us when a message received to park our car in the street. On querying this we were told we could park in the space of another room (that was obviously vacant).
- Facilities are clean, but outdated.
- We were attending a wedding and it was 4 minutes away from the venue.WE found Maffco brewery which was excellent. We stayed for two nights so as to look around the area, The drive to Glen Maggie Weir was worthwhile.
Cons -
- Really nothing we didn't like, just a couple of points. The back door was hard to open at first, did take half a dozen times. Also perhaps more milk should be left in the fridge. It was lucky that we dined out with friends that evening and then chose to have breakfast at a local cafe otherwise it would not have been enough milk for the three of us. As I said just little things.
- Though beds were comfortable, due to bugs, mosquitoes in the room the night was sleepless.
- It was an older property. There were no side tables next to the bed to put you phone or a drink on, although the was a small shelf on unfortunately the opposite side that I slept on.

Good location and comfortable amenities.
Only thing was the information folder may need updating to reflect the current circumstances/reality. No breakfast available as far as I know; although the information sheet seemed to indicate that it could be ordered. Bathroom door handle was difficult to operate but we managed it with some technique - just needs some maintenance attention.
Friendly and helpful staff relocated us to the room next door where the electric blanket was properly working. good hot water, and shower. Good tea and coffee selections. Good heating system, TV and lights.
A cleaning cloth and dishwashing liquid to wash up with, and a plug for the basin is a definite need.
A great location for what we had planned. Good sized room, comfortable bed, good sized parking, and a visit from Easter Bunny ?
Central and clean motel, short walk for great breakfast at The Coffee House
We did not enjoy Room 1, there were bed bugs, I took a photo and I also informed the woman at the front desk in the morning and provided her with the photo of the bed bug
My 13 year old son and I had to endure bed bugs, this was not acceptable
Good location, easy to access, clean
The bed and pillows were really hard
Oldy but a goody, good location, clean and quiet
GreatCommunication, lovely hosts, room was clean and modern. Really nice, stay.
Loved it al
Pleasant
Communication from management regarding access was not completed as promised, therefore on the evening of arrival (11pm) had to try and call contact number to gain access, first calls were not answered. Eventually phone was answered and was given access about 1/2 hour after arrival.
Clean quiet room.. very welcoming reception staff.
Clean and tidy
Old style room. Small.
Central, comfy beds
Smelt a bit musty
This was the perfect venue to accommodate our staff who were travelling to build / set up an event. There was great vehicle access, and the accommodation was spacious and clean. Thank you
Wasn't disappointed, bed was clean and fresh Room was clean
Wasn't on site long enough, was a location to sleep
Maffra Motor Inn was a comfortable stopover for a visit to Maffra. As it was very hot, we found the air conditioning was excellent. Our beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the extra pillows supplied in the room. As a couple we quite liked that the vanity basin was outside the bathroom. It meant one could be having a shower or using the toilet while the other could be cleaning teeth or doing make-up. The location is good being close to town where there were a variety of food options available and a Woolworths supermarket.
Easy access (once the electronic lock was sorted)
The accommodation was searched (and booked) due to being designated ‘pet-friendly’, however upon arrival the staff made a point to say the room wasn’t allowed for pets
Clean fresh and friendly
