Central location,

Your hotel was described as 4 star to us and a deluxe Queen size room but unfortunately it was more like a 3 star . The room was lucking in several ways , but the bed was very nice and comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

The highlight of this property was the location. Plus the price

There was no soap in the room at all. Also there was no milk at all. The parking was very limited.

The accommodation was in a very convenient and central location. Check in and out was easy and the facilities were as described. Bed was firm but comfortable with extra blankets if needed.

The decor was dated and the room not that clean. The reverse cycle was noisy but seemed to heat effectively. The walls were thin and allowed noise from the next room to penetrate.

Location is next to none.My room appears to have been relatively recently renovated, and had all the amenities necessary

Car parking is a bit convoluted (like, there are two separate blocks of parking), and it took me a while to find the "other" part, to park my car

Location was great as the price mid week for skiing. Just what a skiier needs for a few days in the snow. Way more affordable than on Hotham.

Car parking could be a challenge if they are busy. Not much they can do about it as they are located in the centre of town, just an FYI.Suggestions, a soap holder in the shower would be handy as would a scourer (which Dani did organise, many thanks) in the kitchen.

Location was very convenient - very close to the Canyon Walk and Cherry Walk trails and the Mafeking Square where the Anzac Dawn service was held. We were also able to check in early (12 noon).

Shampoo/Conditioner dispenser was empty.

Perfectly located. Close to everything.Room had great amenities that is needed for a convenient stay. Spacious room with comfortable large bed. There were ample of storage options. Modern bathroom which we don’t get at many other motor inns. Big Samsung Smart TV was a surprise. We were able to enjoy movies every night after a tiring day-out (make sure you use your own Netflix / amazon account and sign-out when leaving). All came at an affordable price, considering the peak season. Value for money ?

Fridge and cabinets were not cleaned properly after the previous stay it seems. We had to clean the spilled milk from fridge. There were hair and sticky patches in the cabinets.Parking was an issue. For one night we had to park our car on road. Other than this, all were perfect.

Fantastic location and easy walking distance to main attractions. The rooms are very dated and need some love and simple things like some little soaps etc would be appreciated.

The Inn was central and the room was more spacious than expected. It had a table and chairs and basic kitchen facilities including a toaster, microwave and kettle. It was adequately equipped with dishes, glasses and cutlery so we could make our own breakfast. The facilities outside were excellent also, with a pool, bbq and seating.

It's an old Inn and the rooms reflect this, but with that comes character and charm:)

The location was really great, which is the main reason I chose to stay here. We've stayed in Bright a number of times and this was the best for location to walk around the town centre for food without needing to drive.I was disappointed by a few things that could easily be worked on. We got there and our wire door didn't close properly. It seemed like the other ones we could see did though, it was just frustrating as it was beautiful weather to leave the big door open but flies have been crazy this year, as well as European wasps hanging around everywhere, so I didn't want them getting inside because the wire one didn't close.The tiled area was weirdly sticky to walk on with our shoes, despite actually looking clean, it had that sticky noise as you walked over it... It could have just been what they used to mop, I guess, but it took away a bit from that nice clean feeling.There was no soap at all in the shower or for the shower, which I found a bit odd. Lucky I bring my own little bar when I go away for just in case.I didn't realise when we got there that the fridge wasn't turned on. We later went to the supermarket to get a few things for that night and the next morning, only to return to find the fridge wasn't on and therefore wasn't cold. I would have thought that was part of preparing the room, I didn't think to check it as we checked in. My son turned it on but it was so loud as it worked hard to cool itself, it wasn't very nice as it was late at night. It was much quieter once it had cooled down but it took quite some time.I'm not sure if I'd stay here again. This stay was only for one night, as an out of the way stop on the way home from a much bigger trip. I think I'd personally choose elsewhere over this place, only as I found the things mentioned frustrating and there were a few other minor things that I won't mention that slightly bothered me. I'm not usually a fussy guest.

The bed was good likewise the location but no soap or soap holder in the shower. Inconvenient. Not enough pegs to hang anything on in the bathroom., but everything was very clean. We would certainly stay there again.j

Close to town/shopping & facilities. Room size was good. TV worked well. King size bed was comfortable. Air conditionerworked well(cool). Across the road from Tourist information centre, riverside park/playground, splash park & tourist walk.

No notification of room number allocation. No one in Office at time of arrival. Had to ring for assistance for access to room. Key had not been left at room allocated to Us and was instructed over phone to find correct key on board in Office. Did find the correct room key but on wrong numbered hook on board. No soap or shampoo in bathroom. Bathroom/toilet door would not close fully. Laundry was next to our room & was very noisy before 7am.

Our expectations were low having read some reviews, however, our stay exceeded expectations. The bed was really comfortable, the room was large with a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. The main room was a little worn. There was not a full complement of cutlery and dishes, however, we had brought our own. Parking was convenient and wifi excellent. The location is excellent, right in the middle of town. Overall, a great value stay.

We did not receive an email with the wifi code, however, this was kindly provided by a neighbour.

Clean and tidy. Quiet location and close to cafes, restaurants and pubs.
