Tasman Holiday Parks - South Bright

Everything is great, big location, standalone house, bathroom, kitchen all working well, even had a 6 seat table and small couch. Staff are friendly and had good recommendations for places to visit. Outside bathrooms if you don't always want to go back into your room. Swimming pool. Early check in available if room is ready before check in time.

Location was excellent.

There was no hot water in the Kitchen or Bathroon Sinks and the water pressure was as almost non existant

This is a fantastic place,they have accommodation according to your needs,I booked budget ensuite cabin which has two bedrooms,wash+ toilet and a small kitchen,rooms are decent and got everything for a your stay.Parking is available on site Overall ver happy with the stay.

Check-in process was bad. Keys were not given till 2:30 and we had to wait with kids outside somewhere

Used to be good

The shower was not usable in our cabin - switching between hot and cold every 2, 3 seconds. When we called reception/management we were simply told they couldn’t fix it and that we need to send in an email for compensation. We sent them a few emails and never heard back.

Location was good, walking distance into town. Staff were wonderful.Villa was nice.

Villa was smaller than expected so was squashy for 6 people.Beds were uncomfortable No jumping pillowPool only available during summer months.Coffee Van was never open.

Very basic as we picked the budget accommodation, dusty and close to the main road, if you don't have the heater on its absolutely freezing as the bungalows don't hold the heat at all. Where the bunk beds are was too cold so my son had to sleep with us

All good but we had a water problem and outside toilet lock was jammed.. otherwise not bad

It’s in the center of everything. A few minutes drive or walk will take you to the shops and trails.

Nothing much. Only that the bunk beds are designed for kids due to the height.

Decent location, not super central but still in the Bright area. Pretty standard for what you would expect at a caravan park. Included hot water, a small kitchenette and small fridge in the cabin.

The doona/duvet wasn't big enough to even cover the bed let alone 2 people. Floors were not clean upon entry. Despite being a powered cabin there were signs advising that we could not charge an EV with the standard power points which was disappointing. We were advised that we needed to call to organise a later check in (after 4pm) however we called through multiple times and did not receive any call back. Finally got through to someone after calling through again to confirm check in after 4pm.

A noisy road. A 5:45am wake up with trucks and skips drop off next door on a public holiday wasn’t the best.

Accommodation was roomy for a family of 4. 2 Primary school aged kids.It was walking distance to main town - 10min

As a Parent I would of liked locks on the bathroom and main bedroom door.Description online stated DVD Player provided. This was not the case.

Great location, but the house was very small with a super small bathroom and toilet. The level of cleanliness was poor.

It is close to the main town, within walking distance (about 15 minutes). There is a swimming pool and a playground area.

The holiday unit was lovely and well equipped. It felt quite spacious. Park facilities were wonderful. Coffee van out front was great and convenient. Pool and playground were lovely and well maintained.

Location wasn't as good as other options in Bright but still walkable to the main part of town.

Cabin was clean.

No hot water in our cabin for our first night. We were told the gas suppliers had not filled the gas tanks. Our family of five, after an active day had to have a cold shower or not one at all. We were texted a message stating “ sorry for the inconvenience”. The next day the water was turned off for a while due to a broken pipe.

It was clean, close to where I needed to be.

We didn't have hot water on the first night, when I rang the afterhours number, I was told that a text message went out about it. I didn't receive a text message. I was told that they had ran out of gas to het the water on Thursday night and it wouldn't be fixed until Saturday morning. I found the female very rude and not wanting to deal with my concern.I even had them call me and ask for a credit card details as we were arriving after 5pm, she was rude on the phone as if she wanted to be done with the workday.The lock on the door was not secure enough.We had enough room beside our cabin to park both our cars as they only allowed one care per site.Bed is way too close to the wall and could be seen as a trip hazard.
