    Pros +

    • There was a pool which was welcome during the warm weather. The cabin was clean and comfortable.
    • I think it comes down to expectations, we saw 'dorm style' and expected to have the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen all under one room like a ski lodge style. What there actually was, th ebedroom was on top floor up 16 metal steps, with just 2 beds, the bathroom was underneath as the shared campsite bathroom, so to visiti the amenities through the night you need to tromp down the outside steps, battle bugs then tromp back upstairs again and the 'kitchen' facilties were the standard shared outside camp ground BBQ etc. they were all clean and working just not what we expected so I wasn't prepared. Otherwise all fine.
    • The location

    Cons -

    • Shower/toilet was a bit squeezy but not a big issue. A little further from town but also not a big issue.
    • Tramping all our gear upstairs every day, facilties being seperate, description needs updating so that travellers can be prepared.
    • Shared toilets, bathrooms and kitchen

    Disappointed

Old park, old facilities. Cabin was over priced for where is positioned. It looked out the window to old dirty privately owned caravans that were in need off either pulling down or a make over ! This was not how the park was advertised.

Absolutely nothing. If we didn't have Children with us we would have left in the middle of the night when the smoke alarm kept going off from the heater being on.

It was dirty and awful. Uncomfortable. Smelly. Right on the main road. Freezing cold. The playground was all pulled down and a tiny one with 2 things was over on the other side of the driveway. Unable to walk anywhere. The smoke alarm kept going off during the night whenever the heater was on. Terrible. We booked for 2 nights and left in the morning after the first horrible night and went elsewhere. There was no one at reception to speak to. I called to advise of the situation and we had dropped the key to check out. Requested a refund of the second night and never heard from them again. Very upsetting and a terrible start to our stay in the area.

Fully self contained cabin with all necessary appliances, linen & comfort for 5-6 people. Very easy contactless advance info, arrival notes & check-in, appreciated the heater & lights were turned on for a late arrival.

We stayed in the dorms, and they were clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The walls were quite thin, so you could here everyones alarms going off in the morning getting ready for their snow trip which we thought was funny! Check-in was easy, as the information was sent to us ahead of time. Was an easy stay for just one night. We needed use any of the amenities as we arrived late and left very early in the morning. We just needed the bed to sleep!

Loved how easy it was to find our cabin, we were sent a map via email with clear instructions. The cabin was so neat, clean and cute! It was pre heated for us kindly and the beds were soft, warm and I slept like a baby! Tea, coffee & milk provided with all things for cooking. Plenty of soft towels. Highly recommend and I’ll come stay again. We loved it!

    Nothing, it was awesome.

Great value for money - for such a cheap room for a night I was expecting very little, but we entered our room late at night with the heater having been left on for us, sheets and pillows were high motel standard which is far better than I was expecting. Bedding not luxurious but would be totally fine for a few nights, we only stayed one. I accidentally left my glasses in the room and the staff were wonderful in tracking them down and posting them to me!

Shared toilet block was pretty cursed and freezing, I wouldn't want to shower in the bathroom, given its age it's hard to get to a super clean standard so I don't blame the staff but you do get what you pay for when it comes to facilities.

the location was good. The cabin was very clean and well laid out with a convenient kitchen space.

The cabin was uncomfortably cold. The electric blanket was not accessible. The blanket was light and not suited for winter temperaturesthe morning temperature was also very cold.

    6MeadowsPosted on: 4-28-2025

The cabin was clean. It was very spacious for 2 people. The shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. The main bed was comfortable. The location is very beautiful.

There was no soap provided for the shower except a hand soap dispenser outside of the shower. The bunk beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Not suitable for an adult.

    Location and value for money.

Gas and hot water stopped working. We had to raise complaint as no one available after 05, they fixed on next day.

very comfy canbin. it is small but with everything and even lots of storage space.

the stove is automaticly locked. as there is no manual we have to unlock it by searching internet.

    Awful

Everything was awful. - cabins so close to the road made it noisy every night and the lack of fencing and boom gates made us constantly worry about our kids riding their bikes and potentially getting hit by a car driving in.- cabin was dirty upon arrival, couch smelt like cigarettes and utensils were dirty- electric blanket was set on high on both sides of the bed without our knowledge so when we turned the power point on to charge our phones the beds automatically came on. Woke up sweating to a burning hot bed at 11.30pm. Luckily no fire started.- toilet leaked and smelt like urine though out the whole bathroom.- the “park” was so small my children didn’t even want to play with it as they thought it was “someone’s they brought from home”Cabins were so small and outdated, made for a very unpleasant experience. We booked for Friday - Monday and left first thing Sunday morning, didn’t want to stay longer than we had to.Very disappointing stay

Location was perfect and cabin was very good, clean and with all amenities, especially full scale kitchen.

Not having internet-Wifi, or Netflix was bit of set back for kids but then again on the positive side, it gave us good tech detox. Wife facility should be thought through though.

    5YanmeiPosted on: 4-18-2025

Facilities are very old and the cabin space is very small. No WIFI.

    4QueeniePosted on: 4-18-2025

We liked that we were able to cook food as eating out all the time is expensive.

We expected the cabin to be a bit bigger. We felt a bit congested even if there’s only 3 of us. There’s no wifi, no Netlfix. We wish it’s closer to the town centre, like we could just easily walk it and not lose too much time.

    8TimPosted on: 4-13-2025

Everything was clean, and convenient but the beds in the dorm rooms were very high
