Clean but light on with crockery

Too expensive for the time of year.Cabin too small, no way you would have a family stay there comfortably.

The cabin was well appointed.

Cabin 14 is directly adjacent to a main thoroughfare, bus stop and fuel station. The traffic noise started in the early hours of the morning. Hence not a great nights sleep.

I was very disappointed with my stay at BIG4 Tasman Holiday Park. The accommodation was too compact and poorly designed, with not enough living space. The kitchen is located right next to the bathroom, and the bathroom door opens directly into the kitchen, which feels uncomfortable and unhygienic.Another major concern was the lack of privacy. Tents and caravans were set up directly outside and in front of our villa, which made the area noisy and crowded. There really should be a separate designated area for tents and caravans, away from permanent villas and cabins, to improve privacy and comfort.Overall, the park feels poorly planned and overcrowded. Based on my experience, Discovery Parks are much better than BIG4 in terms of space, amenities, layout, and privacy.I would not choose to stay here again and would not recommend this park to families looking for comfort and a relaxing stay.

The location was perfect. Restaurants close by. Cabin was a good size well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Facilities excellent. Staff very friendly. Good value.

There was nothing we did not like

We have stayed a number of times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Deluxe cabins very comfortable and clean. A top location with many activities and food outlets within walking distance. Tathra is a beautiful town and the beaches magnificent.

Tv in bedroom didn’t work

No fan/AC in bedroom, very hot and stuffy

At check in the room wasn’t ready and the staff member on duty was rude about it saying it’s not her fault she had sick staff and the park was full of people. No apology or offer to check out late even though it was 2:45 when we checked in. One of the double beds was broken so had to sleep on mattress. The 2 tvs in the kids rooms didn’t work. A staff member came and fixed them on the second night. Noisey at night with people smoking and drinking outside the kids bedroom window.

Excellent park. The cabins are great and nicely equipped. Close to beach and town all within walking distance including cafes and restaurants.

Being informed after booking the pool was to be closed during our stay for 'routine maintenance'.

The location is great opposite the beach and with eateries within walking distance. Unfortunately most weren’t open during our visit but the bowls club is close by and always willing to help visitors.

When we arrived we got a “small upgrade” as there was a fault in the one we booked. What we got slept 6 main bed 2 and 4 in bunks in a small room it was tired but clean and the size of a shipping container. The site itself is a trailer park with units like ours which we knew. What wasn’t clear is that there was a large number of what looked like live ins at the back of the site which are in poor condition. The facilities on site and the units all appear to need repair our upgrades. In ours the tap in the sink in the bathroom wasn’t fixed properly. We also overheard staff refer to other defects in units.

The bed could have been more comfortable. It was fairly hard and I found it uncomfortable to sleep. Would have been great to have an extra blanket and n the wardrobe.
