Pros +

  • Easy parking and walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Affordable and clean.
  • Great stay for the snow weekend. Breakfast was nice, classic bacon and fluffy eggs with hash browns and some other cereal and pastry stuff. Staff though, legendary and amazing people.
  • Really enjoyed the communal facilities and the cleanliness of the rooms. Staff were super nice and friendly! The room amenities were clean and choice of soaps were nice and lux for the venue which was a nice homely touch.

Cons -

  • I would refrain from taking breakfast again here. The coffee costs extra unless you want to prepare yourself an instant coffee. Windows cannot be opened and the AC does not exchange the air in the room, which makes it quite stuffy.
  • Would be amazing if there were cooking facilities. Even in the communal space. Travelling for the snow is already expensive along with accomodation so the option of being able to cook food and prep for the trip would make the whole trip more enjoyable and an affordable experience. Even if it’s an electric cook top with basic utensils would be a nice addition for the price you pay. For group bookings, has 3 of us in the 4 bedder room. It was very tight living even just for 3 people in a room for 4 so it was a bit claustrophobic.
  • Not disability accessible- no elevator. No cutlery or crockery in the room. Bare minimum linen- no face washers.

Having the common room was great.

It would be great if there was a window that opens. 4 people in a small room could use some fresh air flow.

Great location being a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Perfect for those who are there to ski, plenty of space in the common areas for down time.

8PeterPosted on: 9-2-2024

Check in was easy and ample ski/boot storage. Location means it's walking distance to everything. The rooms are pleasant and clean. Nice tea selection. Lots of hot water to shower after day on the hill.

If your room is in the 30-40s you're at the top. So expect steep walk and stairs. But, keeps you fit. Internet TV can be fiddly but always did the job. Note, if you don't book through their site breakfast is extra. However rooms have a fridge so can self cater.

Room and Breakfast and Staff were all very good.

8GraemePosted on: 8-29-2024

Clean and tidy.

My room was right up the top, quite a climb with a heavy bag. Had to park on the street with some parking locked off. No crockery or cutlery for a family room, these are relatively cheap to provide

Clean and nice. Has air condition to keep you warm and nice hot water to shower.

The kitchen upstairs and pool table. Room and bathroom were very clean and new. Beds were comfortable

The drying room could have been a bit better at drying

6LauraPosted on: 8-20-2024

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The common room was a great place to relax after a day of skiing.

We stayed in an older room - which we knew when we booked. However the photos show a picture of a big window and when we got there we realised it didn’t open. That might not hav even a problem except that the room also smelt of mildew or something similar and there was no way to get fresh air in.

Great location. Easy to check in and out, hassle free.

The shower was like cracking a safe, not a major but you had to have patience.

The room and bzd clean and comfortable

The room was a hike from the car park up two flights of stairs whixh is quite a challenge with food and suitcases. I didnt like there was no cups or glasses or cutlery in the room. Everything was paper cups and carboard spoon. There waq no microwave in the room. . I asked for a couple of glasses and a spoon and a bowl but the staff just smirked and looked at me as if if i was stupid for asking. I was not impressed

The staff and person that welcomed us.LocationClean.

Small roomVery small bathroomNo opening windows which on entering the room and bathroom had a smell of body odour. We left door open for a while and sprayed perfume as there was no scented things in room either.

8JamesPosted on: 8-11-2024

Large room with sofa and table. Nice clean bathroom and a good shower

Room was accessible from the carpark up a steep driveway and a flight of stairs

10RossPosted on: 8-11-2024

Excellent location for visiting snow, clean modern room perfect base for a weekend away

7FazithPosted on: 8-11-2024

Place is close to snowy mountains. Enjoyed the pool table and the common area.

Room is so small but it was just ok just to crash for a night. Bedsheets looked clean but made us itchy. Couple of stairs to reach the room and no lights at night. Toilet is so small.

8RhiannonPosted on: 8-10-2024

Shower was amazingly hot. Surprisingly dark in the room with the curtains. Very good location. Not too much noise about.

Bed was tiny for two adults. Breakfast was very basic and cheaper to get a toastie and coffee in town.
