Grand Hotel Central Conakry

I did not expect much and got exactly what I expected. The location was good, just walking distance from a local market and lots of street stuff for sale. Not far from the water front as well!

I had to leave the hotel to buy breakfast, at least this could be made available for purchase within the property.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was also very good.

There was no floor towel in the bathroom so it left a mess after the shower and the shower was open without a door so naturally water spilled allover the bathroom. Not the hotel’s fault but we had some really noisy neighbors on our floor who were yelling and laughing until around midnight so it made it difficult for us to sleep. There was also no toothpaste in the bathroom.

Clean & good restaurant & downstairs cafe

The location is confused on Google maps with another closed hotel. That was very annoying when trying to find it

Nice and friendly staff, hard working team always will to go the extra mile.

Corridor was too hot. AC in the area would improve more.

Everything was ok. I had a comfortable stay. very comfortable bed.The hotel was right on the streets but there wasn't any noise in the rooms

1. There wasn't a functional gym. 2. There wasn't much variety with the breakfast

Airport transfer is big problem. Hotel is dirty, we were sharing the room with ants and spiders..

They were very rude and unable to help me because I don't speak french. I won't go back!

Room cleanness, especially the bathroom

Small 2 star hotel with good hygiene and cleanliness. Staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Located on the Main Street with adequate security.

Rooms are comfortable for a business trip. Breakfast is on order from menu. Seems popular with business travelers.

I Did not like anything about the hotel

Hotel is having cleanness issue, in terms of pesticide. Cockroaches were found at the bed, table and door corners. I have never experienced any kind of hotel in my professional life where I found cockroaches in the hotel. Very bad experience and will never stay again in that hotel.

The breakfast was great. The housekeeping was also done on time and they display their professionalism by decorating the bed and using the curtains to make beautiful designs. I loved them all. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The location was great and the staff was superb. Especially the receptionist was very kind.

This is a decent hotel. Pleasant staff who arranged an airport taxi for me, clean and comfortable, reasonable wifi and no issues with power cuts. I walked from the Sea Coach ferry terminal which took approximately 12-15 minutes. Didn’t have breakfast as I left early but I did eat in their restaurant which had v appealing looking baked goods.

A sign on the door would be helpful and fortunate my wifi was working well enough to use Google maps.

I liked the location. It is comfortable abd everything worked. The staff were helpful and pleasant.... especially Ms Canara! ?

One of the 2 lifts was playing up.... it sometimes stops between floors. I reported it and it may have been repaired after I left as I was only in the hotel for 2 nights.

Very friendly helpful staff. Central location. Coffee shop/restaurant next door.

Not any window... or there is kind of but you see just the hallway and walls and can't keep curtains open. Poor internet.

Liked the decor, location, staff, on site restaurant and food quality meant a great deal

I didn’t like not being able to see the outdoors, the sunshine in the morning. At times I felt closed in and claustrophobic.

A hotel of good standard, the room was clean, comfortable and nice, and the restaurant prepared fresh meal and was attending to my special requirements (and had very good bissap juice).

The hotel has its own exchange rate so expect to pay upto 10% more than booking.com price unless you have USD.
