ALPINE COUNTRY MOTEL 4mile

The bed was very comfortable. Had everything thst you needed for an overnight stay.

It was exactly what we wanted. A reasonable night before heading to the snow early in the morning. We got what we asked for and the place was very clean.

Fantastic and quiet Motel with everything you need. The room was nice and cozy, with a lounge, table and chairs as well as a small bar area, the bed was comfortable and large, and the bathroom was great too. The shower was wonderful and hot, which was much needed during winter!You check in at the service station down the road, and the owners are easily reachable if there's any issues, and check in goes until quite late which is handy in case you're driving a fair distance. I requested extra towels and they provided that happily. The extra blankets that come standard in the room was also a great feature as it got quite chilly. Kettle and Toaster, as well as a fridge was great too. I stayed just one night, but would happily stay longer.

I had very noisy neighbors who were banging their doors until nearly 2am, but they left fairly early in the morning so I managed to get decent sleep regardless. Not at all the fault of the motel owners!

It was basic and cheap but clean and comfy. It was better than the photos. Ask for the free coffee when you check out at the roadhouse.

great stop over on the way to the snow to break up the trip. It was very clean easy check in process, staff were lovely.

Location is OK. Heater was good. Beds were good. Fridge was large. Good hot water. Price was relatively good for snow season school holidays.

Only two TV channels. One plate for three people. Shower dripped constantly. Fluro light was faulty. No washing up detergent, sponge, tea towel.

For the price you can’t beat it rooms clean and well decorated good stopover on way up to mountains .

The heater in the room kept turning off at night.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean. Good value, and only a few kms out of town.

Quality of the room is insanely good for the price.

Checkin is a little odd where you have to collect the keys from the Metro petrol station down the road, but I guess that’s part of how they keep costs down.

Motel is sadly lacking in maintenance however the room was clean. It was cheap and that was its best quality.

Bed collapsed when sleeping. Was a cheaply made bed which is not suitable for a motel. There where only garden type chairs to sit on. There was no air conditioning and you could hear other guests through the wall. Having to pick up a key from a service station should have rung bells. Will not stay here again.

Dead plants at front door. We thought the bedding was not fresh. The shower rose was very high and not adjustable. At no point was there free coffee offered. What is that?

Huge rooms, comfy bed, lots of pillows, toaster/kettle, very clean, milk and water in fridge, lots of car parking, exceptional price, friendly staff at the Roadhouse check-in

Older style place that could do with some TLC

Good value. Off the road so not much noise. Easy check in at the petrol station

We don't find the facilities quite as clean and they have stopped putting a top sheet on the beds and don't provide face washers any more.
