The property was really comfortable and well set up. The air conditioning kept the room cool which was perfect on the hot days, and the pool was a great bonus. It was in a great location too, just a short walk or drive to the Murray River and nearby shops. The owners were also lovely and very welcoming. Having the dogs there made the stay even better.

The road noise was a bit loud for a start but we had no problem going to sleep.Our dog did not want to leave when we wanted to leave.

Owners Kerry and Rod were welcoming with bottles of water on arrival on a hot day. Air con was turned on before arrival as well. Rooms were immaculate, pet friendly, clean and big enough for a large family. We were even able to check in early. Definitely recommend staying here.

The staff I interacted with before and while checking in were lovely. The room was large and clean. The location was really central, right across the road from a great pub, walking distance to the centre of town and right near the river. Good solid option for the town if you need a place to stay.

The wifi signal wasn't strong in my room and my 4G signal wasn't strong either so I find it difficult to get internet on any devices that were relying on wifi.

This Motel is a hidden gem in Tocumwal.The staff are extremley friendly and proffessional and you feel welcome from the moment you step in to reception.The rooms are spotlessy clean and fresh .No detail is missed here.We stay in many motels and although the Birch is older style it is up there with expensive motels in the cities.Kerry does both reception and cleaning here and she is meticulious in what she does in the rooms.Her husband maintains the yard maintenance and pool and he does a wonderful job .The surrounds are well kept and grass is nice and green.Not something you see at alot of motels.We will be back and highly recommend the motel.You will no be disappointed.Thank you Kerry and Rod for such a wonderful overnight stay.

Lovely owners, nothing was too much trouble. Clean room & facilities, great air conditioning as it was sweltering outside! Close walk to many lovely places to eat.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here with our dog. The accommodation was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Rod & Kerry have really set the tone with their hospitality, not to mention, happy to sit back and have a chat together over a beer, it genuinely felt like you’re with family here. When we had car trouble on the day we were leaving, Kerry went above and beyond by allowing us to stay an extra night and referring us to her mechanic. Such genuine kindness, care, and helpfulness. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend staying here.
