    Pros +

    • Convenient , nice staff
    • Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and motel offered a free continental breakfast. There was lift access and plenty of parking within the motel grounds.
    • Staff, room and beds all fantastic - I have previously stayed at this location several times over the years. It is unfortunate that the breakfast was basic particularly when there is a commercial kitchen at this venue and not being utilised.

    Cons -

    • Fairly dirty - back long hairs in shower grate - fluff on tiles
    • Leftover food in fridge. Empty cleaning bottles. Spa not working. Air conditioner leaking.
    • The hotel used to be one of Wagga finest . And after the recent stay and first stay at the pavilion the best way to describe it is "tired" . The hotel is getting renovations done . This is fantastic but simple things like the room we had instead of getting the fixed lighting fixed they put in 6 lamps for the lighting . The bathroom had a built in spa with overhead shower . For me and I'm 6 foot tall was impossible to have a shower without sitting in the tub . The spa worked but the seal from spa to the wall had a gap about 2 cm all the way along telling me the spa is sagging on the frame . Shower head was connected via flexi hose that was broken . Shower head broken and leaking with no rubber so water squirted everywhere . The handwash bottle and shampoo bottle were empty along with 2 glasses for rinsing were that dirty had to soak them scrub to be able to use them , i found this weird as they were wrapped in paper as if to show they were cleaned and wrapped so they didnt get dust or anything on them . The kitchonet had only 1 spoon 1 fork 1 knife 1 glas 1 mug 1 bowl and 1 plate in the drawer and they were dirty and with signs saying there was cleaning feas for uncleaned dishes there was no reambursment to us for the dirty ammanitys . In the cupboard there was someone's left over pantry grocerys and grocery bags . The fridge had no milk bottle water or anything . The range hood had the vents taken out and just placed in the cupboard these were also very fatty and greasy aswell as the underside of the range hood. The room was a none smoking room but on arrival the balcony had a ashtray and cigarette butts in it aswell as the padded inside chair for the dinning table that looked to have sat out there for a while as the chair was that dusty and dirty from the elements you could see that there was very little attention to detail for the entire room.

The size of the deluxe queen suite was great had a separate bedroom to the rest of the apartment so that was great with a balcony

Great bed, clean facilities, pet friendly room and friendly staff.

Bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and shower floor was a bit slippery.

    Beds were comfortable & clean

Bathroom needed a good clean (hairs on the floor) and all mirrors and tv’s were very dirty.

loved the location and value for money with the accommodation price at that time of year. Room was spacious.

Same complaint i find is the instant coffee is very average.

    7AnnaPosted on: 1-2-2026

The pet-friendly rooms are very big with high ceilings and sliding doors directly to the parking lot, making it easy to take our dog out to pee. The living room was nice and aircon worked great. Checkin/out was very easy and the team were responsive when we requested after-hours checkin. The continental breakfast was basic but most people could find something they liked (toast, cereal, wheatbix, tea, coffee). They also had a hot food menu available and barista coffee.

The rooms are quite dated and worn in places (paint chipping etc). There was a giant jet tub in the bathroom but a large sign saying the jets didn’t work. The front of the tub also looked like a panel was falling off. The shower was above the giant tub with no curtain or glass, which was fine for us, but different to what you might expect. If you have mobility issues - I’d avoid this type of room because it’s a big step into the tub/shower. They have shower-only rooms that might be a better fit. The beds aren’t the most comfortable - firm but not very supportive. If you like luxury locations, this might not be the place for you but if you like a decently comfy and affordable hotel - this is perfect. Very worth it for the price.

    Regrettable

The hotel was outdated, dirty and smelt stale like wet dog.

    Location was good

Breakfast was included in the price and it wasnt even offered to us. Absolutely nothing in the motel was open.

room was a good size and close to restaurants

    the iron didn't work properly

    Bad

Dirty towel left from previous guest in bathroomBlood on the sheetsFairly disgusting Totally tiredIn car park there is a fenced off area full of rubbish and sad dog constantly barking People in the next room demanded their money back as the door didn't lock. He rang the night staff abd they said to him - don't worry no one will enter and hung up on himWill NEVER be back. This venue shouldn't be connected with the Mecure name.

    Was close to dinner reservations

Bathroom dirty, didn’t seem to be mopped. Toilet paper in the toilet. Was woken through the night multiple times by other guests. Then again at 5.30 to a loud dripping sound as another guest in another room showered, there was a loud dripping sound in my room.

The motel was centrally located to our needs. Check-in was easy as was access to our room. The room was a good size with a sofa for relaxing before going to bed.

There was a bit of confusion as to whether the in-house restaurant was open so we went for a walk to consider our dinner options. The lock on the toilet door too was a tad confusing, we were a bit hesitant about using it.

The excellent friendly manager who treated my daugjter and support dog and myself with extreme kindness Will definitely return !!

Very central location near a selection of cafes and restaurants. Loved that I was nowhere near the lift or side entrance, which was the only place people could enter and exit outside the reception hours, and also mostly used all during the day as it led to the carpark.

The room had not been cleaned properly. There were long, straight black hairs in the shower and shower drain (I have blonde, curly hair). I also found black hair under the decorative throw on the front bed. No time to address this with staff as I arrived well after reception had closed on the first day and was out all 3 days of my stay from 7am until 9-10pm with a conference and event breakfasts/dinners, so no staff around to speak with. The aircon in the front room was broken with the front pulled off sitting on top of the fridge and it wouldn't turn on at all. Just kept flashing. The tap in the bathroom also dripped unless turned off incredibly tight. I did advise reception on my departure of the issues that have obviously somehow not been picked up by cleaners even though pretty obvious.
