Food and location.
The Tv was anolog and only had 2 channels which is very disapointing in this day and age.
Part of the complex for food and play area for kids. Location and last minute availability.
Too close to music and drinking. Luckily our child was tired from playing in the playground and she fell asleep quickly. Dated rooms were clean and tidy enough. Our room smelt like someone had been smoking in there and the glad fragrance could not hide
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Cleanliness - CHECK ROOMS BEFORE LETTING OUT - FAECES/SHIT ON THE WALLS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND DISGUSTING - NOW TRYING TO GET A REFUND - NO OTHER ROOM AVAILABLE. NO ONE ANSWERS YOUR CALLS OR EMAILS.
It's a beautiful pub - the festoon lights upon arrival had it feel like a really stunning and welcoming place to arrive to.
When I arrived to sign in the bar staff were very busy. I almost felt guilty for needing their attention. My room was alongside the windows where people were seated having their meals which I felt very uncomfortable with - 15 hours in a car and having people watch me unload my stuff looking like a mess. It was very loud until the restaurant closed (not ideal when I was desperately wanting an early nights sleep.)I was happy with everything within the room itself except for the shower - I stood in there freezing with the water running (hot water turned all the way up) and nothing warm coming out... and then all of a sudden it was BOILING hot and it took forever to get enough cold water flowing that I could even stand under it.
Service Staff at Reception and in the Hotel were great very friendly
Room was very dated.Bathroom was dated, mould in the bathroom, water temp varied when set. Bed was uncomfortable, very lumpy
The location was excellent for our reqirements
Called 5 times b 3hrs before we were due to arrive left message with stupid AI assistant was told we would be called back .....never happened Understand that the hotel/motel is old but there were questionable stains on the carpet and stench in the room when we opened the door was over powering the missing tiles The bubbling lino on the apparent wardrobe There was a towel/bathmat in the bottom of the fridge for who knows what Unless I was attending a function there again I wouldn't be staying and even if I was it would take alot to convince me to stay again
Hotel was lovely, great food. Parking was great.
Rooms dark, lighting terrible, TV had not many channels, carpet stained, bathroom old and out dated.
Did not have breakfast
The mattress was not very good and the bed was very low
We stayed here because we attended an event at the venue - was nice enough. Back beer garden section was great!
Rooms were quite small and could have been cleaner but nothing too serious to comment about.
Shower hotBed comfortable
Dank ,musky smell when first walked in.Sad, tired, dated room. Unfinished open brickwork “ blot” on wall. Dry cracking painted work inside above entry door.Bathroom outdated ,severe black mould and grotty grouting in shower. Tiles removed from base of shower window, not replaced and dirty. Smoke alarm just sitting on top of wardrobe. Other un wanted rubbish still sitting there. No wifi , no local Prime coverage on TV.Beshevelled carpet in need of good clean.
Nothing, because they double booked us and left me and my family with no accommodation during a peak season for wagga wagga for nsw touch comp.
Booked 11 months ago for this week past, through booking.com and had confirmation. On their end they said “ oh we are so sorry we have double booked you and we have no accommodation to give you, as we are fully booked” If it wasnt for me calling up we wouldn’t have know. Already cancelled my other stays and my family’s bookings they had with this mob.
The meals area and location were great
The accommodation needs an update to complement the overall facility. The room was small, broken chair, drain in shower had a smell. Was a little on the pricey side for an average room. Expected more having dined at the establishment previously. Would definitely return for a meal and drinks, but not the accommodation.
The room was very dirty, stained carpet floor , broken security lock on door The room was way over pricedThere’s no way I’ll be using booking.com after this terrible experience
Rebuild the room terrible condition
Convenient to the pub
It was old and the shower smelled when the water was turned on - was worried to brush my teeth with the water
The pub facilities are great. The playground for the kids is sensational. Food and beer are great value.
As long as you don't move the beds it appears clean. I found a previous guests sock between our bed and the wall when fishing for my sons teddy. Having said this, the sheets are clean and we aren't precious. The fact that it has the pub and playground right there makes it worth it.
Bed was comfortable, but that's it!
One glass in a room for 4, no milk for a coffee, remote for tv was there but tv had no signal even after plugging in the ariel! The amount charged was just rude for what you get. An actual 1 bedroom unit was alot cheaper than the really outdated rooms at the palm, sorry.
