    Pros +

    • I rang the night before and the woman who spoke to me was happy to give me their room for people with disabilities. I was thrilled they could accommodate me.
    • The location was to our satisfaction at the time of the booking. The television was working fine. The smelly, dirty and stained tea towel was replaced when I did complained about it.
    • Very good location, easy to access and close to the main beach and restaurants. Room size. Price is low for the area, so you get what you pay for.

    Cons -

    • The room felt like it hadn't been used for a while, there were cobwebs in the corners and the ceilings. The bathroom needed a good clean. The sofa was draped with a white sheet and I felt as if it was a ghost in the corner. The bed was very hard.
    • Initial ImpressionsAs we walked into the room, I was immediately taken aback by the putrid smell that lingered in the air. The unpleasant odour was unmistakable and set the tone for what was to come.Bathroom ConditionThe bathroom was no better; it was plagued by a filthy stench, with the bottom of the toilet reeking strongly of urine. The air felt heavy and unclean, making it difficult to feel comfortable.Living Area ConcernsThe sofa in the living area was covered with a single bedsheet, which made it feel suspicious to sit on. As a result, we chose not to use it at all.Looking around, I noticed spider webs around the air conditioner, and the flyscreen was covered in a thick layer of dust, adding to the sense of neglect.Kitchen CleanlinessThe top of the fridge was noticeably dirty, and when I picked up a glass to pour myself some water, I found it was also unclean and had to wash it before use.The dish soap bottle was both diluted and dirty, which made cleaning anything a challenge. To make matters worse, I discovered a cockroach on the kitchen counter, further confirming the lack of proper hygiene in the accommodation.
    • The room smelled like cigarette, carpet has many stains.

The location was nice. Thankfully we had the ground floor room.

Tge room was dingy. The blinds broken. The bathroom didn’t even have a proper shower area. Curtains were hung around a shower head and the whole bathroom became wet if one person took a shower. There was no vanity cupboard or drawers. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. No water was given. The blankets smelled. The milk that was left was hardly enough for us to have a cup of tea in the morning. Stingy as. And I met a staff member before leaving who didn’t want to find out how my stay went. Terribly overpriced and utter disappointment.

Its a budget hotel - as per the other guest reviews, no need to carry any blankets n all...facility provides all the heater and blankets but keep in mind that its a budget hotel and thats what they are charging.

    Nothing at all

Disgustingly dirty, so unclean and outdated.Car park facilities is hopeless, so difficult to get your car in and especially out. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. We were scared we were going to get bed bugs/sores.

    4TracyPosted on: 4-30-2025

Sound from neighbouring caravan park went late into the night. Accomodation could do with a thorough clean. Old spa has mould and bed felt dirty.

    1MichelePosted on: 4-30-2025

    Absolutely disgusting

The room was filthy. Torn blinds, broken flyscreens, bathroom smelled like urine, all paint chipped off towel rail. Cleaning in bathroom sub standed. Black hairs left in hand basin. Shower Recess floor filthy. Carpet stained all over and bed spread dirty. Dining table back to bare wood in places. Freezer in fridge so iced up it was unusable. Stair wells filthy and sheets from room left on the ground in an undercover but open carpark covered in leaves. Lounge covered in white bed sheet. Cobwebs everywhere. Generally not maintained and filthy. Would have left but could not get money back even if there was anyone attending reception that could speak English. The room looked nothing like the photo. Also broken mirror in cupboard and smelly dusty blankets. THIS MOTEL SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED ON BOOKING .COM though if you are happy staying in filth it might suit you. Would not have stayed but could not afford to pay double elsewhere at short notice and also lose our money. Disgusting and a health hazard

    Location was ok

Old and very tired.. looks nothing like the images, check in was not ideal with the person left responsible unable to speak English

    8GerryPosted on: 4-28-2025

    Comfy, spacious

    Bedside light not working

    8AnnettePosted on: 4-28-2025

Across the road from Erskine river

Was noisy and needs an update

    5LachlanPosted on: 4-27-2025

The property is old & in need of an upgrade. While the room was clean, it was just a room

    6SharonPosted on: 4-26-2025

Clean and spacious room and close to what we were doing that weekend.

Very tired and run down , needed a full revamp.

    7KellyPosted on: 4-25-2025

Great location and easy to access.

Very run down. However paid $120 for a night so expected little. Good room but bathroom was worn and full of spider webs.

    Location

Very old motel. Garden overgrown. Dowdy but cheap

    5ElizabethPosted on: 4-23-2025

    The crisp white sheets

It is very runned down, but fine for an9 O/N stay.

    5TheaPosted on: 4-23-2025

The shower was large with good temp and pressure

    Felt pretty dirty

    1AmberPosted on: 4-20-2025

This was the most unpleasant accomodation experience.

By far the worst accomodation l have ever stayed in. This place should be shut down. I cannot believe l got charged $270 for one night to sleep in filth. I seriously considered sleeping in my car due to the condition of the room. Thick cobwebs everywhere throughout but particularly in kitchen next to kettle. Moldy tea towel provided with pink and black mold. Out of date biscuits, bugs on floor, terribly outdated room, sheet draped over old couch..

    7SheenPosted on: 4-15-2025

    Good

Road noise , noise from caravan park next door, steep narrow stairs.

    10ElainePosted on: 4-15-2025

We had a 2 lovely nights here. TV didn’t work but that didn’t bother us. Used BBQ one evening which was great.
