    Pros +

    • We ended up staying an extra Night !
    • Lots of fun walking around the castle
    • The check-in staff was lovely and really helpful. The Tiny Home was ideally positioned with lovely sunset views and horses in the adjacent field. The bed was comfortable and a surprisingly good shower! I liked being able to park right outside the accommodation. Access to the castle at all hours was also great, good fun to take my daughter in after dark, as well as to play in the arcade.

    Cons -

    • Very close to Family , as we came over from SA for a family get together
    • didn’t like that the double beds were two singles put together as they tended to separate slightly during the night.
    • The Tiny Home was quite hot when we arrived and didn't cool down quickly (27deg day). My daughter is a sensible 9yr old so was fine with the steps and ladder in the accommodation, I wouldn't recommend for anyone younger but it doesn't mention this in the advert. The sofa was not comfortable and would not have been sufficient for a whole family. There was a lovely big deck but no furniture to enjoy it - bring your own chairs to watch the sunset! Breakfast was nice but a little overpriced especially as the coffee still came in a throw away cup.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great that we could spend the day inside the castle which came with our accommodation. We loved having our own little private courtyard when entering the room. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I had no issues with the frogs in the bathroom, but my wife wasn’t a fan of them. The next day we enjoyed our breakfast it was very yummy. We would definitely stay again!

Our shower had a major leak which flooded the floor when the shower was running.

The out-of-hours check-in was seamless. We had a queen room which was quite spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast boxes are a great idea. The bed very comfortable. All the staff we had dealings with were amazing.

The shower could've had a little more oomph but it did the job. Also a lovely view from the bathroom window which was a bonus.

The events was fantastic!! So peaceful with our stay, we feel so safe. We came late in our stay, still we didnt have hard time to get into our accomodation, very friendly staff.. we will come back again

A truly unique experience like a step back in time, but with modern comforts. We came for the Baroque Horse Festival and it was perfect being able to stay onsite. Our room within the castle was very comfortable, we had everything we needed. All of the staff looked fantastic in costume and were very helpful and friendly.

The entertainment was great tiny home was beautiful and the scenery surrounding the location is great

As it’s a Big 4 facilities like a pool, playground, jumping pillow etc should be included as there is not a great deal for kids to do outside of the castle

Very quaint to stay in a castle. The room was comfortable, view from bathroom at night beautiful. Map provided made it easy to get around.

We opted for cooked breakfast next morning and the offer included a complimentary drink. The tea/coffee was provided in a takeaway cup, would have much preferred a regular "china" mug as we were eating our breakfast in the cafe.

    7CraigPosted on: 2-4-2026

    Nice and quiet

No towels in room on arrival and Three empty wine bottles left in the room

    10RachaelPosted on: 2-3-2026

Bed were big and comfortable and the view was amazing! All the staff throughout the Castle were lovely!

Water pressure was horrible it got so bad that it was just dripping out of the shower head.

Unique and interesting place to stay. The cabin was modern, clean and comfortable. Having access to the castle out of hours was a bonus.

Very minor. Just would be good to have somewhere to sit inside to eat and a sink as part of the kitchen.

Well equipped with everything you need including breakfast boxes. Amazing they can fit stove & oven in the tiny houses. Bonus chocolate & wine really made us feel special

The A/C is not enough for bedrooms upstairs. One more unit upstairs will do the job. Downstairs struggled to cool down on an over 40C day. Sleeping downstairs in the sofa bed was good enough, not the beds upstairs. Sweating all night. Skylight may be good for winter, not great in peak of summer with radiant heat warning up the place more & sunlight shining in early in the morning. A ledge to open or shut will be a good idea.

    7MahendraPosted on: 1-29-2026

Location was amazing and services were good. Staff was also very helpful. I also liked kids playing areas as well as other attractions inside castle.

Spiders in the room - not 1 but many.

    5KunalPosted on: 1-25-2026

    very good location

tiny house lacked decent air conditioner, especially when u are sleeping upstairs. washing machine was out of order and wifi did not work

    9ElainePosted on: 1-24-2026

Excellent play to stay for children as they have a theme park as their playground. My grandchildren spent so many happy hours playing in the facility after the park had closed to the public. We also had adjoining rooms so we could stay interacted as a family.

Returning in the dark after an evening out there were no lights to ascend the stairs to enter the castle. We had to use the torches on our phones to navigate.

    10CarlyPosted on: 1-24-2026

Breakfast boxes were excellent. Good amount of room and access to amenities. Fantastic that we had access to the castle for the duration of our stay.

There was some minor cleanliness issues- mould on the shower curtain and some marks on the wall. Very small issues.

    7DonnaPosted on: 1-22-2026

    Clean.

No restaurant available nearby. Secluded place.

    7SheenaPosted on: 1-19-2026

Great place for family fun, kids loved the castle & it was just far enough from town to be nice & quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast box & after hours entry to castle l, all staff were really friendly & helpful.

Tinny home was not overly clean, dust & dirt on the floors & blinds. However bed & toilet were very clean. Shower head didn’t work very well & it took a long time for hot water to come through

    10TimothyPosted on: 1-10-2026

Full Access to the Castle after closing. The castle and park itself are amazing. Staying here really adds to the overall enjoyment of the experience

If I could do it over again I would stay in a non-budget room as it’s a bit small for the amount of people that can stay. This was my fault at booking as the rooms features are well listed on the site.
