Couldn't find the light switch for the over the bed lights on the left hand side & the right side, you had to get out of bed to turn them off.

Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent communication throughout booking. Quick drive into town to get anything we needed. Self check-in. We were passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. Woodmans Hill was exactly what were were looking for.

The location was convenient enough, it was just outside of town. The room was clean. Even just off the busy highway, the room was relatively quiet and secured.

The room was not as described and the pictures did not match up. It was old and dated - we thought we were getting a renovated room. It was a busy weekend, so this was the last option to book.

Staff were very friendly considering I didn't read 2 emails that explained how to get into our room. I had booked a 2 bedroom unit but the second bedroom hadn't been made up. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic and made it up while we went into Ballarat for lunch. Nice big TV and the bathroom was OK. Good for our overnight stay.

This small unit with a second bedroom had enough beds to sleep 6 people, but was only really big enough for a queen size bed in the main room. The other bed was too much along with a full size dinning room table and chairs. A smaller table and a 2 seater couch would have been more practical. The tiny cupboard with the tea and coffee, toaster and kettle was far too small to make tea or coffee and I had trouble putting the kettle under the tap in the bathroom. The hall table under the mirror was a tad rickety as well. 6 people in this room would have been claustrophobic.

The (cabin) appeared to have not been stayed in for days hence was very dusty and a little dirty. When doors were slid open there was dirt and dust underneath.Maintenance was poor. Hooks were missing in important places. Laminate on bench tops missing in a few spots. Rust marks on floor. Scuff marks everywhere. Sliding doors were out of their tracks which meant they could have got jammed.Shower curtain was far too long meaning there was a lot of it on the base that could be a slip hazard.There was no dishwashing detergent provided.Even though it was a pet-friendly cabin it had no way of keeping an animal contained to the immediate area outside. It could have a small fence perhaps.There were no hangers.Location great.Linen was clean and plentiful.Beds were comfy.Everything was working well.Vending machine near office handy but we didn’t take advantage of it.

Cheap and cheery basic clean hotel for a nights stay when travelling through. Always an easy check in, always clean and comfortable. I’ve been here many times and I would highly recommend it.

Property was full of cockroaches, very dirty, what appeared to be a number of people dealing until 3am in the morning, neighbours knock on our motel door as all their stuff was stolen. Loud traffic noise, the whole night was like something out of a war zone wondering what was coming next. Extremely poor in all aspects.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming; room was clean, and beds were very comfortable.

Nothing everything was great.

Easy no fuss check self check in. Exactly what we needed for a one night stay after attending an event near by. The bed was surprising super comfortable! It was clean, and had all the basic necessities you need.

We were only there one night, I didn’t find anything not to like.

It was out of the rain and that made me a little happy. The lady at reception was absolutely lovely and it hurts me to have to write such a bad review.

The room was not cleaned at all prior to my arrival, dead bugs on the bed making me think the sheets weren't clean so i slept on my swag on top of the bed, there was a block of crusty soap on the floor of the shower, there was dry blood streams in the bathroom, the neighbour's were out next to my door smoking every 10 to 15mins which came in through the almost 1 inch gap under the door. I payed $163 for a room that was dirtier then the camp site i stayed in the night before. Absolute waste of money, for that price i would expect an old crusty bar of soap to at least be removed from the floor of the shower.

Unfortunately nothing.

It smelt like cat pee, it felt dirty cramped and small. Furniture was shredded.

Good parking, close to city/food, quite clean, easy check in.

It was a long weekend so the price was higher than it was worth. Not enough plug ins. The only sink to fill kettle was the bathroom.

Great location.

A little expensive for what it is. Bed wasn't great and frame was loose.
