Poor bath room ,old bath ,no water pressure

We had one of the larger spa rooms in the adjoining building and it was excellent. It was August and freezing outside but inside we had an excellent room heater and electric blankets.

Everything was fine. It was just that the lighting in the rooms was a bit dull.

The beds were very comfortable, we ate a takeaway meal from the hotel's Chinese restaurant which was very nice. So easy after a long drive. We liked the room and the comfy beds so much that we booked the same room on our return journey.

A toaster would have been nice.

I like the restaurant downstairs It was very convenient and the food was top quality for a Chinese restaurant. The parking was convenient for my car. Staff were friendly and the location was perfect as it was close to everything

There was no plug to go in the bath/shower.

The room was clean, bed and sheets clean and neat.Parking was easy and close to the entrance.The area was quiet and I appreciated being given a room away from the street.

I would prefer bigger mugs for tea / coffee.The fan in the bathroom needs fixing as it is INCREDIBLY noisy.

Chinese restaurant downstairs was good, plenty of parking

No plug for bath, so staff to ask for plug, tired rooms with air conditioning that did not work properly, out of main area of town and limited food places close by to eat and breakfast, stairs with all rooms upstairs and no lift or assistance

Nice and quite, comfortable bed. Also nice to have a restaurant in the same building.

I found the shower floor a little slippery once it was wet and used the hand rails while moving around the bathroom

Upstairs room 6 at back of property, quiet, didn't hear any traffic noise. Air conditioning quiet, clean linen and towels, all in all, good value. Staff very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

the staff was very lovely, when requested for towels and charger she quickly respond and helped me. So lucky to stay here and enjoy the place here too. Downstairs is a Chinese restaurant the food was very yummy as well. I am sure will come to stay here again when I come Ballarat. The location is perfect for me, walk distance to supermarket and about 5mins drive to Sovereign Hills, walk distance can have others nice fine dining restaurants too.

Choose another hotel people!

I paid $900 to stay two nights in this hell on earth. My room smelled musty and looked like something out of an 80s flashback movie… the sofa springs were so worn I was basically sitting on the floor and when I peeled back the bed covers to examine for bed bugs (I was concerned), I found the mattress was so old the the sides had all worn and split exposing the springs. This was hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in… be warned!

Location was fine. Meal at the restaurant was lovely and yummy.

The shower had a constant soft drip.

We booked because of proximity to airport in Melbourne without having to stay downtown.

The meal at the restaurant was okay, but I would look for somewhere else to eat.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist. Check-in was so easy, as was the booking itself. Do yourself a favour and dine at the Asian restaurant in the building, it's second to none!

Noisy room, rooms very outdated, minimal power points, no hand towels. Very stuffy hallways with odour.

How clean my room was.....other than the lounge....

Location, on a busy intersection, was troublesome. The lounge within our Queen sized room was outdated, grubby, and collapsed.....we didn't use in the fear of catching something.... So disappointing as the rest of the facilities within the upscaled room were good.

It was good

A nice room with everything you need. The walls are way too thin. I could hear people in the next room all night long. And when they used the bathroom it was quite noisy too. The bed was hard too.

Being able to choose ground level room important, as Wife has mobility issues. Also being able to park close.Restaurant and meal excellent.

A toaster, dish cloth and tea towels would have rounded off a good stay.

We stayed in room 18, which was clean, quiet and dark (all of which we were pleased about). We would certainly stay again. TV was small and didn't have Foxtel, so no footy shown on Saturday night (as not available on free-to-air channels).
