Had to leave to early after a great sleep
Noisy. Shared bathroom.
Needed to be quieter. Could hear road traffic all night.
The food at hotel room was good value great Tv had a kitchen bed was comfortable airconditioning shared bathroom was fine old stllyle clean
The old building - tall ceilings. Shared dining room.
Noisy traffic
I didn't think that they served breakfast. The bed was comfortable, Staff friendly
Good place to stay for a night, let down by the rude staff member.
Rude and unhelpful staff at the bar who didn't understand what I meant when I asked to check in. Young guy with brown hair just kept barking at me 'what' 5 or 6 times when asking where to check in.
It's a hotel room above a pub, so room went in with expectations to match. The pub downstairs looked very busy and lively with locals. There's parking behind the hotel as well as on-street parking.
Using the external staircase/ fire exit to enter the premises after 11pm via the bathroom wasn't ideal - do not do this with heels after a couple of drinks as the stairs are metal grates. There's only two shared toilets and one has a shower attached. Only one shower for all guests. No mirrors in the bed room and the double bed was small with one side pushed up against a wall.
Basic , easy access and comfortable room.
Food and service was great
There is no window latch to be able to stop the window from opening had my child fallen out the window when they tried to open it it would have been fatal this is an OHS issue and MUST be addressed
Location was fine. I did not eat at the hotel.
The room I had was rm 4. It was fine for a single person for a night or 2. The room needs a bit of TLC. A chair & a mirror would help.
Good location, close to town. Great meal in bistro
Shared bathroom was old and a bit grubby. Would be good to have a small fridge in bedroom.
Great value, staff were professional and polite. The pub/restaurant served great food downstairs and for a good price. Whilst not in the very heart of the city, it was not far out enough that it was a hassle to get anywhere. Plenty of other food options within walking distance.
Stayed on a weekend and the noise from the pub downstairs was quite loud when trying to sleep, but this is to be expected when staying somewhere above a pub!
Great location and great service
Old style pub rooms but this was all we required
The location, on-site restaurant and price. The bed was comfotable and a basic breakfast was supplied in shared kitchen. It was close to Lake Wendouree and we enjoyed a couple of walks there.
Expected but didn't like the shared unisex bathroom. It was noisy until about midnight. The room was very basic and the smoke alarm went off ... we think triggered by heat (the electric heater inn the room) not smoke. Turning on the ceiling fan stopped it. Just as well as we couldn't have reached the alarm to turn it off.
Staff was really friendly
Room smelt musky and needed some fresh air. Got very little sleep due to light coming through the window on top of the door and also staff banging doors at 1030 and then again round 530ish.Poop in the toiletOnly supplied bath mat was the used one in the shower. I believe we were the only ones there for the night so not sure when it was last changed.
