Smell and size of room

Convenient
No microwave in room One at reception?! But it was raining actually pouring downOtherwise no complaints
Location was great, right on sovereign Hill. Facilities were ok.
Ordered a hot breakfast on our first morning and it was terrible. It came out lukewarm at best and the quality of products used were just as bad. We were in a room that was on the bottom level and i think there should be signs in the rooms above telling people that every time you jump it vibrates to the rooms underneath. You could clearly hear the people above us as they were pretty loud. A sign in those rooms may help with keeping noise levels down.
Great place to stay on a budget. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable.
The handle on the front door didn't work properly; it would get stuck and was sometimes hard to open, even though the light turned green when we inserted and removed the key pass.
Proximity to Sovereign Hill. Well priced
It was very noisy - the other guests made a lot of noise when they came back. Walls are thin.
Old rooms and bed and no wifi and facilities.
No wifi, beds are old and bad quality, toilet was leaking, no dishwashing soap to clean cutleries, staff are not in the reception when we tried to check in the first time, had to wait a long time. Staff won’t answer calls from the room.
Close to sovereign hill
Upon entering room it stunk only to check the bin it was full of dirty nappies rang reception 15 minutes no answer had to walk up to tell them to empty it. We had a 3 night stay the beds were made each day however no cleaning or restocking of anything night 3 no toilet paper rang reception several times no answer again had to walk up yet again.
Friendly reception.
For a family of 4, the room is small to fit us, shower is tiny and the beds are too soft and making the squeaky sound whenever you turn. Room is also a bit run down.
Rude staff, dusty room, poor exhaust. Poor air conditioning, lack of basic compliments such as water. There was no after
Everything
Staff were so friendly. THE best water pressure and hot shower, a great value room
I just loved the location with fantastic views overlooking the Gold mine and the pure history of the place just loved it.Really nice staff member who was extremely helpful.Room was really nice and clean very comfortable bed.All in all a great place.
For me very happy with just how it is.
Easy access to the museum using the room card. Big comfy bed, great shower, clean, pretty spacious. Parking near room.
Noisy, squeaky doors. Dripping taps.
Clean sheets, comfortable beds, good value for money. Great location as well
Easy to find.Very friendly lady at reception.Parking was easy. The room was perfect
No easily accessible places onsite for breakfast or dinner. The price for food and drinks when it was available in the historic village waa very high for even basic items like water, coffee and basic breakfast items.
The bed was really comfortable. Only downside was the quite hard lump in the middle where the two beds were pushed together. Loved the building, the staff were lovely. A shame we were only on a quick trip through for 1 night.
The heater was a bit difficult to get turned on in our room. Once on though it was very nice.
Location-Location-Location!Located at the top of Sovereign Hill Ballarat, with access to the historical park via the hotel grounds.
Dated facilities; it appears that restoration work has commenced, however several interior areas appeared to require work to replace fittings and carpets.
Great place on a budget. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms helped (there were 8 of us!) The only downside was no cooling in rooms - only a central aircon in communal space, not even fans in rooms - it was warm!
