Pros +
- nice comfortable large rooms .
- Clean, comfortable and whilst it’s pretty close to the highway I didn’t notice road noise.
- I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The room was clean and well-maintained, which made me feel very comfortable. The overall experience was great, just that the bed was a little too soft for my preference.
Cons -
- unfortunately extremely noisy traffic and trains middle of the night
- Locks are needed on the windows, considering the amount of sex offenders released into the community from the local prison
- My only complaint was the bed was very hard, my husband didn’t mind but it caused me restless nights

Room was clean and bed warm & comfortable. Very quite, even the rooms facing main road. Bonus being able to park undercover. Short walk to RSL and pub.
The motel is very nice. We have stayed a number of times. Reception is very friendly. The motel is very quiet & away from the main road & railway. Only a very short drive into town for shopping & restaurants.
Lovely reception staff. Spacious comfortable room with couch and settee chairs. Shaded parking outside unit. A bit of a walk into town.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the showers worked well. I would stay here again if I'm in Ararat again.
Not the fault of the owners, but I heard the trains very early in the morning using their horns.
