Excellent location, stayed on a trip from Gippsland to Adelaide

Had a group of young travellers on their way to a festival next door that were not considerate of others, not the hotels fault though.

Great property for the price. Room exactly as described. Clean and working.

Some cutlery and crockery would have been good. There was a toaster and microwave but no plates or bowls or even a knife to butter the toast.

Very convenient location, right in town. Close to shops if required. Surprisingly quiet even being located where it is. Whilst some people may feel the rooms are “a bit dated” I thought they were fine. Room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Will be booking again.

Good spacious room. Very clean and close to shops and the main street.

The hot water was temperamental. Hard to get a good shower. While the room has a fridge and coffee making facilities. The only sink is in the bathroom. Filling the kettle was a challenge.

It wasn’t an issue but you do have to ask for plates etc as there isn’t any in the rooms.

Location was very good. Staff were helpful and after complaining about the room we were allocated (nothing like the description at time of booking) we were given a better room.

Kitchen facilities were extremely poor. The two bedrooms were more like cupboards, the bedside table was heavily stained with cigarette burns and no bedside lamp. Very cramped. The room we were initially given and where we stayed two nights before complaining, was noisy (office buildings overlooking our room, unloading bay at the bottom with night shift workers making a lot of noise. No sleep. This room was extremely uncomfortable. Despite the helpfulness of staff I would not stay at this hotel again.

New refurbished room - clean and comfortable.

The room has recently been refurbished and it was beautiful, The bed was comfortable and the towels were lovely and soft. I couldn’t fault it at all.

Spacious room, very clean .Quiet location off main highway but only a short stroll to shops, RSL, fast food outlets.

Easy to get too

Air conditioner leaked onto the bed, and ruined son’s iPad . Pool was closed

Clean comfortable bathroom was like going to camp with the school in the old days let’s say robust but clean everything worked well I’d stay there again

Spotless, very large room, recently renovated and in a quiet location. Very helpful manager.

Very convenient for festival we were attending. Close to the pool and other facilities.

The recently renovated room was well thought out. Double and single bed, three seater couch coffee table and small dining table all well placed in room with space to move around. The bathroom was well set out with large shower. We have stayed in a lot of Motels around Australia, this was probably as good as we have experienced.Some work need to be done to the entry area to the rooms, difficult for someone with restricted mobility.The location is 5 minutes walk from the town centre with good eateries and other outlets, 10 minutes to the station.If we need to stay in Ararat again this is where we will stay. Room, shower, bed were all exceptional, pillows very soft and clean. Location was great, 2 mins from shops, cafes, Pubs and a great selection of restaurants.Even though close to everything, the room was very quiet.

Try not to go on a Fire Ban day, some tours are closed on those days which did dampen the trip a little.

The motel was centrally located and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

The bathroom was a little dated but clean and funcional.
