Nice and quiet location at the foot of the Grampian's. Good access to lots of nearby restaurants and hiking.

The lady at the desk was a little sarcastic when I wasn't in the mood for sarcasm. Also 10 am checkout is absurdly early.

The location is great, walk distance to town. The motol is very tidy and comfortable

*LOCATION*: The motel is situated in a very good location. It's a 5min walk to the shops (general store, servo, bakery, creamery, cafe, chemist, restaurant and park), 7mins drive to Wonderland carpark where you can hike to The Pinnacle and other lookouts, and a 6min drive to Halls Gap Zoo (do not miss to see this! and pay the extra $3 to hand-feed the animals)*HOTEL*: Kelly and David are such lovely people. Easy to check in and out. We got upgraded (yay!) so we ended up having a queen + single bed. The room although dated is very clean and smells fresh. Sheets and towels are very white and smells clean. Decent sized bathroom, bed is comfortable, there are extra pillows and blankets, microwave, electric water kettle, glasses, utensils, cups, fridge, tea and coffee are provided. Parking is just outside your room. It was very quiet and peaceful. I like how you can just text them with whatever you need so you don't need to go/call reception with anything. We always eat out so I am not sure about the food on location. *HEAD'S UP*: Cicadas are noisy in the morning and arvo but will be quiet at night. Because of nature all around, kangaroos, cockatoos, crimson rosella and more can be seen in the property, this also includes some insects (no mozzies), and huntsman spiders which loves taking shelter in cars - check your cars before driving off (this is based on personal experience). Other than that, we had a lovely stay and restful sleep.

The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. The bed was cozy, and we appreciated the easy access to the property and its convenient location near the town centre. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free.

Unfortunately, the bathroom facilities were disappointing. The shower had very low water pressure, and there was visible mould around the base and outer edges. The toilet also had issues—after flushing, the cistern often stuck open, causing it to continuously fill and occasionally make loud noises, which disrupted our sleep.

Located close to everything in walking distance, even botanical gardens walking is close by.Nice quiet area and room is nicely fitted, comfortable and clean.

Lighting headboard could go.

Breakfast was not included due to restrictions for COVID. The location was very good just an easy in walk to town

Everything thing was all that was needed.

Very simple family room with a double bed and 2 single beds, suitable for a family of 4. Neat and tidy with basic kitchen facilities. Excellent location and at close proximity to the main city location/restaurants. Great value for money and friendly staff.

Bed was horrendously uncomfortable.. all we ever want is a comfortable bed... this was soooo badToilet after flushing continued an unbelievable ongoing whirring noise kept us await all nightWill never ever go back there

Great communication from the managers via text message. Comfortable beds. Ample parking. We had our own car so was a quick drive to the town. Electric blankets on beds

The hosts were sweethearts! They upgraded our rooms and were very flexible with check in and check out times. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a weekend getaway! Loved my stay :))

Kelly, the manager, is exceptional and went out of her way to make sure we had an awesome stay. Her knowledge of the area is second to none and she warmly shares her experiences and suggestions. The location was perfect, a short stroll along a sealed path to the restaurants and town centre. The facilities are older but very nice, beds were a little firm for our liking but everything else was lovely.

Lovely welcome at reception on arrival. Kelly had a map and showed us all the best places to eat in Halls Gap. It's a short walk into the town centre. Our 3yr old loved her evening run on the oval next door with the local kangaroos. Our room was comfortable and clean.

The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the host were very communicative and welcoming. It was very quiet at night and the blockout blinds made the room nice and dark. The bed was comfortable and check in and check out was very easy. Bonus was the kangaroos grazing nearby in the evening!

Would be nice to have a quick tidy up of the room and new towels and plates/cups delivered each day, without having to ask.
