Marwood Villas

This is a beautiful property. 7 separate units and one single family home on around 9 acres of manicured land. there were kangaroos in the evening. the living unit had everything- king bed, large TV, great spa bath, shower built for two, double sinks in bathroom, great AC, fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. we were sad to have to leave.

Perfect location with beautiful gardens and views of the Grampians. The cottage was one of four, with plenty of space in between them. The kangaroos visit daily, and the bird life is amazing.

The fireplace could have been cleaned a bit better. The cottage smelt a bit smokey when we first arrived.

The setting was great. The property was comfortable, cosy and quiet

Breakfast was a bit spartan. Kitchen scissors for opening packets would have been helpful

Amazing place to stay at. The villa was rustic and cozy.The open plan of villa was very spacious, the bed was comfortable. Love the window in kitchen and bathroom looking out into the bushland, seeing a kangaroo or kookaburra.Had everything you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The wood fire place made a nice touch in the evening watching the flames of the fire.The wildlife on the property was amazing - kookaburras, kangaroos, ducks and wild deers. The caretakers Cam and Deb went out of their way to make us feel at home nothing was too much for them.

That we had to come back home

It’s comfy and cosy. The setting is beautiful. It was lovely to have the extras e.g bread, butter etc and a bottle of sparkling.

Nothing that we didn't like, it was brilliant.

The villas are very tuscan, they are gorgeous. We stayed in villa 1. Very spacious, the amenity inside is exceptional. Local wildlife right outside the large windows, a great fireplace well stocked with firewood. The cereal and fresh bread on arrival was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the local surroundings.

Everything we needed was in the villa, even provided complimentary bread for breakfast and sparkling wine. Place was quite clean and well-stocked. Great vibe!

Maybe the pillows were a bit too hard? But that wasn’t a major issue as I had brought my own pillows with me. Also the surround sound/dvd player did not work very well so we had to rely on what was on the tv, which did not provide most channels (not a dealbreaker though).

The room was both spacious and complete with a kitchen, large bathroom, even a fireplace in front of the couch. A delight.

Very comfortable villa, tasteful decor. Bed was huge & oh so comfortable. Toiletries supplied for the spa , very relaxing. Kitchen facilities are great, stay in & cook your own meals or eat out at a variety of eateries in town. The surrounding grounds are well kept by Cam with wildlife in abundance at your doorstep.

No complaints other than I couldn’t stay longer.

Unit and location are fantastic. We had kangaroos outside our big kitchen window for a great morning coffee.

The tranquil and serene atmosphere is noticeable as soon as you drive in, with wildlife everywhere and beautiful big trees. Large rooms with lots of space including dedicated dining areas etc which makes it feel like a home away from home.

Location Location Location. Absolute serenity. The Villa caters perfectly for a getaway. Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom.

I had to leave ☹️

The location and wildlife. My sisters loved the kangaroos on the property. The complementary wine was excellent.

The owners are super lovely but could do their rounds of the property after guest have checked out, as the villas have large windows.

Stayed in a beautiful setting just a short drive from the activities and very much enjoyed the kangaroos hanging out on the property right behind the cottage and at the watering hole. The cottage itself was great as well. Very welcoming.

Lovely place in a lovely environment, really nice garden, super comfy beds, tastefullly furnished accomidation

Spacious room and surrounded by nature. The room smells good but not the toilet. There are many diffusers around the room.

This is my honest reviews. Kitchen cabinets need to be upgraded. Toilet bowl need to be changed because there are yellow stains and the cover has some scratches and it smells very bad. Some areas of the room are not cleaned regularly as I can see spider webs around.

Great apartment on a fantastic property. Very quiet and surrounded by nature and native fauna. Very relaxing.

There was a fair bit of grime on the windows. The fly-screens were compromised a bit as well, with insects getting in.
