Pros +
- It is in a good location that is away from the noise of the main road.
- Easy to identity building. Keys left in safe place due to arrival after business hours.
- Nothing at all
Cons -
- Being upstairs, as I don't like stairs.
- Could hear the people staying above us
- The room had no hot water. After the staff member attempted to get it going for ten minutes he left and then came back and told me to move rooms. I moved rooms and this also had no hot water. The staff member came back and tried again, still no hot water. He left and rang me about ten minutes later to say it was fixed and I could try it in a few minutes. I waited for nearly an hour and still no hot water. I rang but only got voicemail. I left a message saying don't bother it's to late I'm going to bed do not ring me back. About twenty minutes later they rang me and then came up to my room, getting me out of bed. He left the door wide open allowing the incredibly cold breeze to blow in. He ran the taps for about ten minutes and after all that a very Luke warm water came through. It never got hotter that night.

The room was very cute and cosy, with beautiful wooden walls and retro-style furniture that gave it an authentic charm. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay was there – a comfy bed, well-equipped room, and a super cute bathroom with exposed bricks. I really enjoyed the classic motel atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Nothing to mention – I was very satisfied with my stay
Room was very clean comfortable and spacious.
Car parking was an issue if more people were there.
Nice quiet location with big room.
Took a very long time for hot water to flow in the taps and shower.
Location
Wifi service was terrible no restaurant
great for an overnight or two ,clean & tidy. Friendly staff .All the basic requirements that were needed.
The only thing that would make a big difference is to have some good pillows.
Comfortable but shower taps were hard to adjust temperature.
lack of microwave
quiet location, clean and comfortable
The bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet location, so we slept well.
No restaurant on site as advertised. This was extremely disappointing as this was the main reason why we booked here. Reception was a mess which gave a very poor first impression.
The historical aspect.Good location, comfy room.
It's a shame the restaurant was closed
No traffic noise very clean hot shower
Air conditioner didn’t work properly, can hear next door and upstairs neighbours, noisy shower but for solo traveler it was adequate
Water pressure good
Air con didn’t work, restaurant closed for renovations (not mentioned on website).
Very quiet. Well located.
Bedding.
The rooms have an older styling with lots of timber finishes, but are clean and reasonably spacious. The staff are friendly and relaxed so check-in is easy. At night the rooms are quiet and the bed comfortable.
The carpark is in very poor condition with lots of weeds and sagging pavers. The property is littered with piles of discarded building refuse. The biggest drawbacks, however, are the fact that there is no hot water in the morning for a shower, and the abominable amount of noise that comes from the rooms overhead; I would swear of troupe of circus acrobats were upstairs practicing late into the night and starting again early the next morning. Overall, a disappointing stay and certainly not worthy of my hard-earned dollar.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Restaurant was closed and reception was unattended and had to wait a while for staff to arrive.
Location is good. The bed was comfortable.
False advertising. No service. No restaurant as advertised. You could hear everything the neighbours above were doing. Toaster didn’t work. Dead flies. Run down.
Adequate room and facilities
Not very clean.Train passes nearby during the night.Reception desk was unattended and unpredictable
Premises where ok
The system of getting the key to the room, was drawn out, no staff contact other than the phone
