Easy to locate and easy parking. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

A bit of road noise, but didn't bother us too much.

Great location in walking distance to all we needed. Clean comfy, instant hot water and great water pressure. Everything you need in the room..

It provided very basic accommodation for our stay over.

The noise from the main road. Very tired and dated. Limited facilities and space.

Cramped, smelly and overpriced

Staff were welcoming.

Unfortunately it is located right at an intersection with traffic lights, so was very noisy as all the cars were revving off as the lights changed. The building was vibrating with the noise.

Economy, location, 3 beds in the room

I got very upset when I got a phone call in the week leading up to our stay from the motel. I was told that they will have to cancel our booking as maintenance needs to be done. I had booked well ahead of time. Offer of relocation was not consoling as I booked this due to the perfect proximity to the purpose of our trip, as well as having 3 beds in room.I refused on this basis and the staff member then said he would find another holiday maker to cancel.Very disconcerting that they could have just cancelled on me like that snd do close to the date of the booking.Everything else was great for the price, but this scare has made me decide not to book this venue again; can’t take that risk.

The shower although very old was good , great water pressure , towels were good.

The room for a family if 4 , was extremely small, 2 single beds and a double tightly squeezed in. The carpet at Entrance and path along side to bathroom was filthy, our white socks were black underneath from walking on the carpet. The beds very uncomfortable, street , traffic noise very loud , we got very little sleep. So glad it was only one night. The Motel advertised cooked breakfast, but on arrival told not available. Disappointed all round with the Motel , chose for location near oval for our sons football. Location good but wouldn’t stay there next time , possibly we got a bad room but definitely dissatisfied

Value for money and easy booking process given short time frame booked.

After hours check in - there was none, had to call a number and waited 10min outside (already late night 12.30am and advised on booking it would be a late check in).Room was VERY cramped & took 15point turns to get into a car space - cramped and not a lot of room to move in the room or carpark.BONUS - 2.30am heard a compressor somewhere outside the bathroom window that was going for 10min! Not ideal.No milk for coffee the next morning on an early wake up already!

Quirky little motel near the gallery and a short walk to town. Loved the room , care over cleaning and presentation. Quality curtains pillows and bedding. Lovely stay.

The motel room was well appointed with crockery and local information. I liked the decor and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Shower was great.

There was no mention of the rooms on the first floor (as I was travelling with two children - one of whom was a toddler) this was very challenging to navigate safely. There was mention of breakfast to purchase - which we were told ob enquiry was not available. The rooms needed maintenance - the back of one of the bedside tables was hanging off and there was no exhaust fan in the shower.

The room was clean and bright and the beds very comfortable.Loved the retro feel of the place and that it was close to everything.

Both of us found the smell of the "air freshener" nauseating.And staff were not always available during opening hours.

The rooms had a toaster, microwave, and small fridge. There might be a kettle. (We didn’t drink coffee or tea.) There were plates, bowls, spoons, and coffee cups. There was fresh milk, bread, and cereal at the main office for breakfast. The property is within walking distance of the main area (“downtown”) Bendigo. There is a Coles grocery store in town as well as many places to eat. Beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful enough to wash my long hair. The door also had a feature to allow you to open a small door which allowed outside air to come in through a screen. (There is AC. We just liked the fresh air.)

As is very common in many places, there were not a lot of plugs. (Though there were some in the bathroom.) Thankfully we had a plug adapter that allowed us to plug in about 5 devices (phones, iPads, watches, power banks, etc) at a time. We were next to the main road which was kind of noisy in the morning since we had our small door open to allow cool air into the room.

The location.As it was a hot day, the air conditioning was appreciated.

The older style of the motel.And there were three beds in the room when one would have been better to make it feel roomier.I went to reception at approximately 6.30pm as i had a query and there was no one at the desk.

Air conditioner wasn't working except for the fan so the room was warm & stuffy - impossible to sleep on a warmish night; had to step over 15 cm high ledge to get into the shower;no WiFi despite supposedly available & free; mattress was uncomfortable.

Position and lovely staff.

Fly wire on our door, that’s opens with a panel to crest airflow was broken. People smoking downstairs and it came into our top room , I’d we tried to have the door open.
