Maybe a bit pricy for the aged building.

There was no person at the check in office when we arrived. The sign to ring a phone number was not large and easy not to notice.

Basic accommodation for a one night stay

Bathroom had wet floor entire time. Not sure what was leaking but very wet. Whole room was dated.

Nothing ! Refused to stay there

The carpets were so dirty, you wouldn’t walk on in bare feet. Mold in the shower. The room had an extremely bad smell

Clean room, clean bedding and bathroom. Room smelt good. Fresh and clean.

Faulty smoke alarm that woke me up at 12.30 am, 3am, 7am. I wasn’t smoking or cooking or showering. I was asleep. I had to climb on a chair and take out the battery as reception was closed. Batteries in the reverse cycle air conditioner’s remote were flat. So there was no heating or cooling possible in the room.

We were very grateful for the extra power boards so we could charge our phones. We also appreciated the plates and knives/forks/spoons.

A small table would have been good as the bench was too high for the chairs.

Felt like the whole place was falling down around me. False advertising on signage everywhere.

For an older motel it was clean, a spacious layout and sheltered balcony. We appreciated the early arrival being approved.

The shower head was leaking. The water was seeping through the wall and saturating the carpet next to the bed in the main area. I told the receptionist about it and it was like she had never heard of it but it must have been like this for a good while as the wall in the shower recess was bubbling.

This is a very good motel - if you are able to climb stairs (my preference for a ground floor did not eventuate upon arrival). The room was basic (this is what I paid for so basic is good) and clean. The bed was a bit too soft for me but others might really like this. It was quiet. The bathroom was stocked. All very good for a basic motel. Motel was easy to find.

When I booked on line, and hit the make a reservation button, it asked for my floor preference. I chose the ground floor option. When I arrived, I was placed upstairs. I said that i had booked a downstairs room. The lady at the desk said that Booking.com does not give this option. It does. I just double checked because the lady was so convincing, but the floor preference option only shows up once you hit the make a reservation button. The lady at the desk was unable to give me a ground floor room. The Ground floor was important to me because I have sciatica and carrying luggage upstairs aggravates it. Had I known I would have booked elsewhere. Still, it is a good basic reasonably cheap motel, so I'd encourage people to stay BUT I'd phone them beforehand if you need a ground floor for mobility or back issues as this was not a good situation for me.

It was a very comfortable overnight stay. The motel is very easy to get to. The one noticeable thing is that the cigarette smoke does waft into the room and stays.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable

The room had enough beds to sleep all 5 family members. It was clean. The air-conditioner worked well.

The whole place is very old and run down looking. There was a very strong stuffy smell in the room, so we needed to have the air-conditioning on all the time. There was only the small sink in the bathroom, so when we needed to clean a dish or get water for the kettle, we had to use that, which was very hard to get into with the kettle.The beds were not comfortable and kept sliding of the bed base, and the pillows were so soft. It was almost like sleeping on nothing.

Like the grounds, colour scheme and general vibe

No shower cap. No separate shampoo and conditioner. Light on tv shines too bright when lights out.

Hot shower with amenities, comfortable bed which resulted in a good night sleep. TV that wasn't from the 1990's or super cheap - always good to have a decent TV. Easy to find, easy to park. Clean and tidy. Value for money.

The renovation, whenever it was done could have been a bit more careful and professional, though it has brightened up the rooms and bathroom.
