Location

I had a fall due to wet floor in reception. I would have loved a balcony as we were there for 3 nights.

Easy to locate good parking rooms clean and staff friendly

Our tv did not work in our room told reception staff first day. Was not fixed but talking to cleaning staff our tv had aerial problems due to the local fires I would have thought the reception staff could have told us on the first day as they knew about it. Communication is what it is all about.

The staff were amazing and went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too and good value for money. Bed was comfy and room was spotless.

It looked modern near a lake, reception girls were polite and friendly

The pillows were too hard and high and did not have other pillows on request

Unfortunately the room was not clean- looked like urine sprayed on bathroom door. Pool was dirty with unsafe ladder. Lady running restaurant for lunch on the Saturday was very unwelcoming and we felt like an inconvenience.When you pay almost $400 a night for a motel in Bendigo during Summer, I think it not too much to ask for complimentary water in room rather than $3.50 per bottle- plus credit card surcharge. Room carpet was dirty. Smelt like sewerage when stepping out of lift on level 1.

staff were very nice

resteraunt, first for breakfeast when i walked in there was a large bkack cockroach on the serving plates, i passed it to the chef putting out the food, later that night my son had a chicken snitzel that really did taste disgusting, yhe smell definately was not right either, i had the barramundi and that was cooked spot on, beds, sheets and towells need updating

Bed was very hard.

I like the spacious room with a balcony. But the balcony's chairs should be clean. I noticed that the other balconies have a table and two chairs, but ours does not have a table.

There is only one small milk in the fridge. It is only good for a coffee at night. In the morning we have to request for another one, and they request us to go down to get one.

Synthetic doonas on bed has us sweating all night even with a/c on.We weren’t advised TV reception not working and no compensation was offered

We enjoyed the hotels location opposite the lake & park ….a lovely place for a stroll in an evening. The restaurant food was very good (evening meals ). All the staff throughout the hotel were super friendly. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroomed apartment that had all the facilities we needed. Close proximity to the town centre . We chose to drive but it’s approximately a pleasant 20 min walk.

Great accessibility to Huon Hill pub and undercover parking. Rooms always clean and comfortable.

No coffee machine. No breakfast available. Large car parked permanently in check-in bay making it difficult to park for checkin. TV reception poor.

Nice big room and good bed etc. Always got a car park with no trouble. Rooms at the back were quiet though I imagine the front rooms would be noisy on the fairly busy road.

Our room was not cleaned at all well. The coffee stains from spilt coffee were not wiped off the bathroom bench, the taps were still covered in soap marks. Used cups and glasses were just left and the kettle area not wiped down. The towels were changed and that was about it. Reception was not open when we left on Sunday morning at about 7.45 so we could not pay for our extras which were obviously charged, but it would have been nice to hand in our key cards and pay the difference on the spot. There was almost no tourist information anywhere. Every hotel has a rip off type map of the city such as they give you at the tourist centre but there was nothing like that or any other detailed information.Worst thing possibly is the fact there is absolutely no plans on the back of doors indicating fire exits and details. It is no good saying they are able to be scanned. Who is going to 'scan' a piece of paper in a fire? What if one doesn't have the ability to scan? This is surely against all regulations that one could not quickly look and see where to go on the back of the door as it is everywhere else. The fire department would have something to say about this I am sure.

Location, newness and the beds were super comfortable, finally decent beds in Bendigo!

The Buffett breakfast was well below standard , we were hungry and heading to a meeting so had no choice. We arrived late the late night staff member promised ice in the freezer and key in key safe. Key safe didn’t work, luckily the night manager was not far away.

Returning visitors after a previous positive experience so we were keen to get back there. Location is fantastic overlooking Lake Weroona and minutes away from the CBD.

There is not much to complain about and any issues were very minor and related to minor maintenance e.g a loose toilet roll holder.

It was disappointing that you had no TV, s working with free to air. I know you had signs posted to say it was caused by the fires but all my family in Bendigo has retuned their TV so it would be nice if you do this for your guests as we are paying for this service. Also, on checkout there was no reception staff in sight, but I could see a girl through a mirror in another room texting on her mobile phone. Hate to say it but the carpets were dirty as hell. Also, no air conditioner had been turned on for when I arrived on a 40-degree day. Overall, I would give it 3 stars

Modern and clean. Parking was easy!Our apartment overlooked the lake which is really lovely. Staff are so warm and welcoming and the buffet breakfast was delicious! Great coffee too.Bed was very comfortable and the apartment was very spacious.

A little noisey at times. But I guess Saturday nights can be!!
