Pros +
- Room was clean and comfortable. Nice large screen tv made it easy for old eyes to see. Free bottle of water was good. Liked having the bistro open and I used it for a late arvo tea on arrival around 4 pm. Liked the number of lighting options. Bed very comfortable.
- Room was clean. Very pleasant stay. Also accommodating our daughter for staying opposite us
- We have stayed at the Capital Hotel a couple of times now on our drive through to Adelaide. Always clean, comfortable and quiet with very good facilities for a night or two.
Cons -
- Can't think of anything
- We would like to bring your attention that the shower floor was slippery, both my husband and I noticed it. We both concerned. Also can you please have signage regarding the step into the room.
- Fan in the bathroom very noisy and bathroom not very well lit

The location was very good, easy to walk to restaurants. A well-presented standard motel room. Comfortable bed and sitting area.
Great location - within walking distance to the main street, shops and eateries. So good having a restaurant and car parking on the premises too.
Fan in the bathroom very noisy and bathroom not very well lit
Comfort Inn Capital is a good base to stay in Horsham. It is centrally located within the town centre and the rates are very reasonable. The rooms are well presented and the staff are very friendly too.
Speaking for myself, I slept well. My wife said she could hear cars and conversations outside.
Spacious and enjoyed the separate seating . Shower was hot and good pressure.
I previously stayed here and returned because of the comfort of the bedding and the size of the room.Coffee at breakfast was excellent.
There was no parking available on site when I arrived so I had to park on the street. This was unsettling because there were homeless people hanging around.People were talking with loud voices outside my door at 1:30am; not the management's fault, but perhaps a little more soundproofing or induction classes for guests to learn some etiquette.I ordered the shakshuka at breakfast and it had chorizo in it; shakshuka NEVER has chorizo. It's a vegetarian dish and I didn't think to look at the menu to check for chorizo. Why mess with a perfectly balanced dish by adding processed meat?
Location was great, staff very helpful & room very good/comfortable.
The stairs.
The room was a decent size with a comfortable sitting area. Facilities were adequate and clean. It was good that we got a ground floor room, as requested, and that we could park right outside the room.
We planned to self cater a small breakfast for ourselves before hitting the road the next morning. I didn't like that, although a toaster was supplied in the room, there was no crockery or cutlery supplied other than cups and teaspoons for tea/coffee. What made this inconvenience worse was the surly attitude of the woman who answered when I rang reception about this. Her tone was a little abrupt, not helpful, and she said it was because of their health and safety policy that no crockery or cutlery was supplied. I don't know if this is a new thing now widely applied across the sector but I hadn't come across it before. It also seemed odd that they would supply a toaster but no crockery or cutlery to enable you to use it.
Our stay was on our return from Melbourne to Adelaide. We had stayed there a fortnight before, and everything went to plan. One small thing, but can be overted, is the provision of a small micro wave should you wish to prepare something that needs heating in your room.
Nothing other than the comment above.
Loved that there was a restaurant on site - made my stays very easy. Great food and service. Really liked the staff uniforms and that everyone was so well presented.
Clearer no smoking signs. There was a guest smoking just near the base of the stairs and I could smell smoke in room 14.
Staff were helpful, bed was roomy and comfortable, shower was hot and the room was spacious
all good thank you
Centrally located, parking, restaurant on site
Had issues with keyless lock but it was resolved very quickly
Convenient. Good parking
Broken shower arm& rose. This would have been reported. Wife unable to shower.
Room was clean, staff were friendly and it was well located.
Good location, easy to walk to shops, eating venues. Restaurant on site, free parking available.
Nothing to dislike.
Clean comfortable room.
Thin soft pillows
It was a clean bed for the night while traveling to Melbourne, nothing more.
Unfortunately the staff member wasn’t at all polite - she may have had a bad day and I caught her at an off moment while checking in but not a great start.
It was comfortable and all that we needed for an overnight stay
We were upstairs and the banister was decidedly sticky. I need the banister… it didn’t feel good. The toilet fan is far too loud and noisy. No way to switch it off and see in the dark.
