The Settlement Historic Hotel

It's location and the staff. It is a well managed motel throughout. Had stayed there once before in 2022 and liked it very much then.

nothing really. I had to turn off the reverse cycle aircon because the compressor kept me awake. My friend also liked the Settlement.

The room was clean and tidy. The pool was fine! Walking distance from everything

Everything was great

Cosy neat and clean. Within walking distance of shops.

Nothing really bad. If anything maybe toilet/shower could be updated and a separate vanity put in bathroom so as not using the same one for after toilet use and for washing up any dishes.

Price, location, and daily room servicing.

Pool area could have been presented a little better and made more private from main road.

Clean and comfortable Quiet and in main street

Disability access room not suitable for someone in a wheelchair or with a walker, no disability parking space, someone else parked in my room space, ramp was blocked by car so wouldn’t be able to access it if I was in a wheelchair No face washers only hand towels???

Individual car parking; free WiFi , Android TV with guest Netflix, close to the centre, kettle, microwave, cutlery, plates, cups.

Preferred to have a hair dryer, and a separate room for each bed.

Super large room that accommodated a family of 5 with teenagers, bathroom was separate to toilet which was great also. Could walk everywhere from property. Beds were comfortable and loved having the couch area.

Nothing, staff were fantastic and friendly also.

Loved that they turned on the heaters for us as it was a freezing, rainy day. So nice to go into a warm room!

The location was fantastic for walking into town and having everything easily accessible.

Although the room was neat and tidy it was quite small. The fridge was very small and the room was quite warm and stuffy.

That the television worked

The bed and shower head and pressure wasn’t quality standard

Close to Historic port

Designated parking. We arrived Friday and someone had parked in our on site parking designated to our room. I raised it and the managers were sat out from having smokes. They said they could not do anything about it. So parked on someone else’s. Same thing happened Sunday evening this time caught parking who promptly moved. Leaving some one had broken glass over our parking slot! Really quite disappointing having staff who cannot be bothered to sort it out.

Noise in the night due to traffic nearby roads . it will be really nice if they have rail for bunk beds

Friendly staffs, good location, well equipped in-room amenities. Dog friendly.

Friendly helpful host. Good eating facilities. Very clean and well maintained. Walk to centre of town. Able to get early check in after lots of travelling and in need of a rest.

The lady at reception was lovely, our room was very clean , quite modern and spacious. We would definitely stay at the motel again..

The only slight and picky issue was the noisy air conditioner..

Clean & quiet great location

Staff great. Everything was clean. Bed was great. Wish there was a sink on the bathroom though with more hanging hooks.

Loved the brick walls, comfortable bed and toaster so we could make breakfast
