Mercure Port Of Echuca Hotel

Large rooms with bar and large bathroom and spa. Close to centre of town.

The TV kept cutting out or picture and voices were out of sinc. We could not watch a movie.

The room was extremely dated. Furniture chipped, chairs damaged, wardrobe would not close properly. Floor had not been vacuumed, large spider webs hanging from ceiling in bathroom. Very poor and certainly not value for money

I chose this hotel based on its facilities. Despite being advertised there was no dinner available in the restaurant and no bar open. Apparently the case for many months. The lack of these facilities was not reflected in the room price.

Very convenient location

Top floor (stairs) not asked what we prefer.

Good location, and that’s about it,

Tv wouldn’t work for the first 3 nights before they finally moved us to another room , The cop out reasons “it’s cos it’s so busy and it runs off internet, that’s why it won’t work” Funny it was just the one room, :( staff very dismissive and didn’t think it was a big deal, In good need of a clean overall,

Extremely close to the township. We were able to walk to dinner and the cruise. The room was clean.

A bit noisy. Next to McDonald's and during the night we had trucks park outside with their engines on presumably to go into Maccas. The toilet would run for ages after flushing too

The room was large and the bathroom/ensuite was HUGE. I hadn't had a bath in over 30yrs but I did utilise this beautiful new looking bath and it did not disappoint. Bed was comfy, room was clean and I loved how big it was!Talk about location, you couldn't get any closer to the shops on High St if you wanted to.Staff were warm and friendly.I'm very particular with bathrooms including toilets but it was thoroughly cleaned.

Only con I have is that I was on the 1st floor (there are only the bottom and 1st levels) and there was no stair entrance near my room... I don't mind walking up stairs but I did have a heavy load and couldn't be bothered doing it in trips. In hindsight I should've done a couple of trips as I was quite concerned about loosing my footing.

Location was great for the events we were attending. Price per night is very reasonable.

Water pressure in the shower was not great.

Shower was hot and the beds comfortable

The room and facilities definitely needed to be updated. The curtains faded and off the tracks and didn't block out the light.

Spacious room, very comfy beds, great bathroom. Very central to everything.

Air conditioner quite old and in disrepair, still worked but located at floor level and not as affective as it could have been.

Good location. Walking distance to the Murray River and old Echuca. Decent sized room.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable and very hard. Very noisy rooms, recommend getting a room away from the main street.

Great location to Echuca tourist area. Walk to points of interest. Nice bbq facilities.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable for a Mecure hotel. No soundproofing, very loud if get a room by the roadside.

Location

There were no extra pillows available even after we requested for additional ones. Requested for a 1pm check in, only got the room at 3pm.

The location of this property is excellent to the attractions in the area. Close walking proximity to local bars and restaurants and Port of Echuca. It's a short drive across to Moama and within 15minutes to the RSL and Rich River complexes. We have stayed here before and will probably stay here again next time we visit Echuca.

It was a little noisy at night and you could her the cars on the main road.

Walking distance to many places to eat. Buffet breakfast the next morning was great. Pleasantly surprised at the whole stay in Echuca.

Close proximity to all activities

TV didn't work, no local newspapers to read at breakfast, and air-conditioning didn't work. Noise from the main street when I was trying to sleep, security was poor, I couldn't leave my windows open during the night.
