Naracoorte is renowned for its cave complex, and megafauna fossils.This motel is on the edge of Naracoorte township, about 12km from the caves, and so is a good base to visit the caves.Each unit has basic cooking facilities and an ensuite.Rooms are cleaned daily.

The checkin is done electronically (no staff in reception), so watch your text messages.

Good that there were facilities for breakfast, including microwave.Liked the ease of entering the room with punch in code.

Closeness of room to Riddoch Highway with noise of traffic. Online Photos are somewhat deceiving of size of room and bathroom.

The room is a bit small

Comfortable bed, reasonably clean. Easy check in, good location. Bbq to use if you wished. Kitchen facilities in room.

Very loud ear piercing noise from neighbouring shower when used. Power point in bathroom didn't work, kitchen area one was loose.

The room, bed,, pillow were all stink . $129 for Easter rate could have do better.

We did not need staff and breakfast. It was perfect for our need- dogfriendly and comfortable.

Bed slopes into the middle bed to close to the bathroom door and couldn't open it up far, dirty stains on the bedside table

Low cost budget motel

Close to a noisy road. Didn’t like the fact that they indicated there would be a $500 fine if the smoke alarm went off. Could have solved the problem with exhaust fans in the bathroom.

Room was lovely and clean, bed was super comfy and just a short walk to an amazing restaurant.

The walls were paper thin, I could hear people having sx on one side and the fella on the other side sounded like he was cracking peanuts for an hour then started snoring...

No breakfast, left early. Slept well & quiet.

Breakfast was offered at a Hotel nearby but we couldn't afford to go there.Facilities to make a simple breakfast in our room would have been helpful.We liked the beds, the environment, air conditioning and friendly cleaner as we left.

Fridge made a constant odd noise. Very annoying at night.Impossible to shower with more than a dribble because water spread all across the small, flat bathroom floor. Had to use towels to soak up. Was drain blocked????We're not told there were no cleaners at weekends. Had to phone to get clean towels on second day. Tiny sink in bathroom was only facility for washing cups, filling kettle, etc. No detergent or tea towel provided. Especially needed on days with no room service!Disappointing that there was no one in Reception at any time we looked for someone. Only contact was by phone.

Comfortable bed and good location.

Bunks not made up, and one bed the bedding was forgotten about and had to ask for more. Only a sheet and scratchy blanket provided for kids beds, no quilt as pictured in booking photos.

It was cheap and a needed rest stop

1. The motel gave discount to eat at a walking distance restaurant.2. The restaurant had electric vehicle charging station, so I could charge my car overnight.

1. Room space was too small to fit a family of 5.2. Location is near a busy highway.

Beautiful location with comfortable accommodation and little touches like upmarket instant coffee and shower gels were much appreciated. The discount at the Highland Restaurant was a nice bonus and food was excellent. The cabin (container type) was pet friendly and there was no stale doggie smell so that was great.

2 extra pillows would’ve been great but I’m sure pleasant staff would’ve provided but we were just staying one night so didn’t ask.

The motel is very basic but tidy. Fine for an overnight stopover when passing through Naracoorte.

A pin code was used to access our room so there was no personality that one gets when they meet the manager.

Spiders in my bed.. mould on fridge seal .needs up a few updates to room. Pictures are nice on website rooms not the same.i know it's a older motel but a few updates to rooms would help
