No ensuite bathroom.Parking relatively far from room.

I appreciate that this hostel is situated in the heart of Albany's CBD, with numerous restaurants and historical museums to explore nearby.

The bunk bed is rather old and unstable, lacking a ladder, which makes it difficult for my young child to climb up.

    Location

Very compact and expensive for the tiny room.

    4JtPosted on: 4-26-2025

    Location was good

Felt tired, cramped, dirty - felt more like a cheap hostel than a hotel. Doors on locks broken, wet carpet etc.

    1KatePosted on: 4-25-2025

    Would not recommend

Kettle not clean. Carpets stained, cobwebs in room and carpet missing in corners. Run by backpackers who don’t listen. Old blonde waitress very rude - like she doesn’t want to be there. Very old, only good to stay if you’re desperate with no where else to go.

    1KatiePosted on: 4-25-2025

    Terrible

Tiny roomsNo private bathroomThis would be OK if it wasn’t for the price charged - if you’re going to offer a totally basic service, 140 a night is completely unreasonable Did not encounter any staff the entire time we were there - checked in c 8pm and out c 8am the following morning

    Location central.

Looked unkempt. Squashed into tiny room with double bed. Could not fit our suitcase. No mirror. Coffee tea facilities so small, only space to make coffee was on top of microwave which is not electrically safe. Felt misled about it. Only received info about room being so extremely small after we had already checked in.

    Comfortable bed, location, restaurant, parking.

Access to property, bathroom facilities and kitchen amenities. (Maybe kettle in room)

    6AmitPosted on: 4-22-2025

    It was neat and clean

There is a pub underneath and because of that I couldn’t sleep until midnight

    1NicholasPosted on: 4-22-2025

    Location ok

Men's bathroom room flooded floor, blocked toilets, cracks and water dripping from ceiling

    3SPosted on: 4-20-2025

I left 6D hotel more tired than when I arrived. I will not be recommending anyone spend $139p/n here

The location of room 15 was directly opposite the mens toilet. I was woken up multiple times by loud patrons until well past 1am, slammimg the door shut. There was no breakfast provided. I ate my porridge in two coffee cups with a fork, as there were no spoons or bowls.

    1BrendanPosted on: 4-20-2025

    The location was central.

Images on display are NOT what you get, read descriptions carefully. This is a HOSTEL with shared toilets and showers. Showers were warm at best. At $200+/ night is not good value for money. Yes it was Easter long weekend.

    5JessicaPosted on: 4-20-2025

The shower pressure is great! Great location

The hostel is not a place to stay if you want to sleep. The bar plays music until very late and the walls are very thin

    4RajinderPosted on: 4-19-2025

    Location is good.

Rooms are very small and one of room which one she given to us is partitioned, middle of room they installed wooden door, other room’s peoples was noisy and until midnight they were talking and laughing and we didn’t sleep well.

    1TingPosted on: 4-18-2025

    Location is good.

Lovely stay- great location in town and nice room with nice linen and clean bathroom facilities. Room wasn’t the most soundproof but quietened down later so was fine
