The room had just been freshly painted and the fumes were overwhelming.. I felt nauseous and had a horrid headache all night. The room should have been aired out for much longer, before it was available to book into

Friendly welcome from staff, and the chalet was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was pretty well equipped, with good-quality kitchen crockery, and no-frill appliances. For my son and I, travelling with my dog, the beachside location was superb. It’s so good to find accommodation that is genuinely pet-friendly.

The strip fluorescent lighting in the kitchen/dining/living room was a bit harsh.

Last stayed here 30 years ago and was disappointed that the cabins have barely been upgraded since then (apart from the modernised bathroom). The cabin was dated and drab, kitchen scrappy and the second bedroom with bunks was dark and uncomfortable with a broken flyscreen on the window.

Location was great and staff very friendly.

This is basically a villa for dogs. Dog hair everywhere, stench of dogs radiating from every inch of the 'villa'. This only has good reviews because people can bring their 'furr babies' here and let them sleep, poo and wee wherever they want which people love. If you come here without a dog, it's not so nice. We didn't complete our stay and moved on... Gross.

Location was close to Emu Point beach which was very nice. Walking tracks along the shore as well.

We waited at reception for about 20 minutes before someone came to help, despite being there 2 hours before close and ringing the intercom several times. The carpark for number 1 was tight. Had to pull the car in and out to pack the car. Mold was present in both bedrooms. It was especially bad in the main bedroom. The main bedroom also flooded through the main window during a storm. The main lounge/kitchen area also leaked through the roof. The communal barbecue out the front was due for a very good clean as well.

Like :Neat , clean , spacious, bunk beds for kids .Dis like: No smart tv and no activity for kids.

nothing - we were out most of the days so just used it to cook and sleep.

It's a shame there were no recycling bins on site at all We had to take all our recycling to the bins at Emu Point Beach. Even one large bin for the whole site would be a more environmentally friendly approach.

Size of the villa was good bathroom very nice, had a extra bathroom outside which was handy, plenty of extra blankets, easy access to bbq and the beach only 5 minute walk away. The owners were extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to.

No broom or vacuum to clean up excess sand, no plastic cups and plates for kids, master bedroom had a slight smell of wee and 2nd bedroom floor felt a little wet. Also would be great if there was some sort of playground for kids for when it's getting to dark for beach

Good base to stay at, we spent most of our time in Albany exploring so this was really just a place for us to make breakfast and dinner and sleep. Great value for money, clean and a stunning location to stay being just a short stroll to the beach, would definitely return.

Personally found the double bed not the most comfortable but the bunk beds were pretty comfy. Otherwise no complaints.

Location, affordability, and the owners went above and beyond when confronted with a freak weather event to try and make things right. Had all the necessary bits n pieces to be fully self catering if you desire etc.
