Country Comfort Amity Motel

Pool, Room & patio area. Had all we needed for couple relaxing nights.

Restaurant is only Indian, no other options.

Comfort, friendly staff, location

Everything was ok except for the bed.

Bed was raised in the middle. Very uncomfortable. My wife slept on the single bed and me in the queen otherwise we rolled out of the queen bed.

Clean and tidy grounds, inviting pool.

Not much parking when restaurant is open.

The bed was good an comfortable. Kitchen facilities was exceptional the best i have ever used. The games room an pool ,gym also excellant.

Parking was a problem for some when coming home late.Their was no where to park.

Rooms were basic, no ambience or style to the hotel, only an average breakfast, location on a busy road

Lovely spacious clean room. Comfy bed. Good location. Had an awesome Indian restaurant at hotel. Highly recommend.

Didn’t like being on top floor to carry all our bags.

bed was a really soft mattress so it was no good for my back .... woke up sore back and had a crap night sleep

room was clean and comfortable, the stand out was the restaurant, don't think its part of motel but is on the premises maybe the space has been leased, whatever the situation do not let them leave, food was great, service very good too you can pass on our thoughts but i'll be reviewing the separately also

noise from other tenants, some were a bit loud but can give them a pass however would be nice if the considered other people, but the main issues was none of the doors seem to have any weatherseal or similar to dampen the noise on closing so many times sleep was disturbed by the slamming doors, you should look into this.

Aircon/heater was too loud

Location is good and generally the layout of the motel works and the room is sufficient

The shower pressure was low and water temperature hard to maintain. The bed was very hard. I've stayed at this motel many times and haven't had these issues before so not sure if it was just this room or if something has changed (with the water). Also had some parking issues with no spaces available when each room should have its own space

The room was exceptionally clean! We were very impressed.

There wasn't anything wrong with the property. The only negative I have is the communication received from Barbara the booking staff, she really wasn't helpful to understanding.

Excellent facilities. A kitchen, games room and laundry are supplied, making your stay even more comfortable and affordable.

Great location and facilities, there is a pool, gym, games room and 'camp kitchen' available onsite. The onsite restaurant the Royal Turban Indian restaurant was excellent. We didn't try the onsite cafe next to reception but it's good there's one available. Very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. Central location close to town and it's nice that the entrance of the hotel is off of Albany highway and being sunken down from the road a bit it was quiet. The shower had very good water pressure. Overall a great stay, would recommend.

The internal doors tend to bang in the wind, it kept us up on a particularly windy night. We didn't mention it to reception as we didn't think there was anything that could be done and we just put our bags against the door overnight anyway which helped dampen it a bit. More toiletries would have been nice however I imagine we could have asked for more if needed. The aircon was very noisy when in operation, it would vibrate against the wall and sound like a car or jet engine at times. Thankfully we didn't need to use it often, and it did work well. These are very minor things though! Didn't spoil it at all. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return in future.

The room was clean. Public access to kitchen was accessible and had all the utilities we needed to cook and clean. Staff were really nice and friendly.

Couldn’t try the bfast place in the facility as it was public holiday and was closed.

Comfortable beds & clean room. Kettle & toaster available. Breakfast onsite.
